Let the Glory Settle

From a prayer session, and at the very end I heard God say “Let the glory settle.”

I was obviously after the needs urgent in my life. But the tongues seemed to be in a different tangent — in His perfect will.

He said to me, and I believe He says to you too, “Let my glory settle. Don’t be about like Martha. Sit. Give me time. My glory has been looking for you.”

I remembered Solomon and his sacrifice, which made the Lord entreat him in his dream. I remember another sacrifice and ministry, where the temple got filled by a cloud, that the priests could minister no longer.

Our sacrifice today isn’t of bulls and rams. It is mostly TIME. And when in that time, you must be intimate with Him …

And then His glory will settle about you. When you stop being about like Martha. When you sit with Him, in the cool of the evening; and before the dawn yawns on waking. When you give Him time; when you stop being away — like Adam and Eve hid from Him when they had been told they were naked.

And you’ll sing endlessly unto Him.

And you’ll find yourself praying without ceasing.

And then … what no eye has seen, and what no ear has heard, and what no mind has imagined, He give to you!
