Psalm 18:29 For by thee I have run through a troop; And by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Three Sundays ago, we were on a way from a graduation when a distant cousin asked when was I getting married!?
I got stressed!
My last relationship — or so I thought it was — didn’t end well. Another I’m attempting … seems to have the red sea in between me and the girl, and unlike Moses, I seem not to have a staff to provoke the sea’s parting.
I got this impression of a wall before me. A huge Jericho-like wall. That image remained in my mind for days, but on 31st March, this word of the Lord came to me and lit my spirit up.
David spoke of running through a troop. I remembered Israel going through the red sea. It seemed an obstacle! But the obstacle lost its solidness, turned into a gaseous state and God’s people ‘permeated’.
As the enemy followed, the sea became ‘solid’ again. And down they sank!
This comes to remind you that you have a covenant with the beasts! The lions that eat others, won’t lick you Daniel! When the seas refuse to part, you will walk over them! That’s the greater dimension Jesus proved we could traverse.
He proved that Goliath doesn’t need to fall first! He proved that you don’t need to address the mountain ‘to be moved and be cast into the sea!’ You can leap over it! Leaving it behind you!
My Oh My! What a great revelation!
Whatever door that’s standing in your way, may you go through it by His might!
Whatever wall that’s standing in your way, if Jericho’s height and width it be, you don’t need to go round it seven times and shout! The Lord gives you flight through your feet that have become as a hind’s feet! You leap over it!
While Jesus was in the tomb, He was wrapped in shrouds, and like Lazarus he would not help himself out of them … and yet He came out of them without any other man’s help. No one called him forth like He did Lazarus! And yet Peter found undressings.
Jesus walked through those troops! Just as He walked through the door a few moments later to show Himself to the disciples.
And as He is, so are you in this world! (1 John 4:17)
For all doors that slammed in front of you and yet they were preordained for you; I declare you slide through them in the manner of Jesus! They’ll find your papers and documents chosen after they worked so hard to ensure you don’t get the position!
That’s the same thing that Philip demonstrated! By the Spirit, he was transported from the eunuch to Azotus without wheels or wings! Ah!
You leap over that wall of delay!
You leap over that wall of stagnation!
You leap over that wall of injustice!
You leap over that wall of witchcraft!
You can’t regress! Your path shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day!
You go forward in Jesus’ name! And His praise and glory shall be on your lips forever more!
