Plans To Prosper You

Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV‬‬)

While reading Daniel, I noticed something extraordinary. When Belshazzar saw a hand writing on the wall, he was distraught. No one could interpret the language. None except Daniel. Belshazzar was so desperate that he offered reward to whoever would tell him the meaning of the words. They’d become the third highest man in rank in the kingdom.

And so Daniel was summoned to interpret Mene mene tekel upharsin.

Straight to the point, I discovered that one of the plans God has to prosper us includes creating situations that favor us alone — or you alone. He wrote something that only Daniel could interpret. And He ensured that Daniel’s track record had been spread abroad prior, such that when the time came, his gifting would be required to be applied again.

The same happened for Joseph by the cup bearer in prison whom he had interpreted a dream for. God built a track record for him; so that when Pharaoh dreamt, the record spoke of itself by the witness who benefited of it.

Both Daniel and Joseph received magnanimous promotions. Joseph left the prison, became prime minister, received power, received a wife and his life was established once and for all. The verse says ‘plans to prosper you and give you a FUTURE!’ See how Joseph’s future came to be just like that.

Maybe you are in his former position now. In prison. Believing God for a breakthrough. I pray right now that may He ORCHESTRATE situations that favor only you. From the previous blog, I testified about how He created an opportunity where a prominent fast food restaurant put out a competition whose prize was the latest iPhone then.

He ensured I saw it in time and that I exhibit the highest quality of creativity. It was like setting an exam and being told the answers before the sitting. Then He went on ahead to mark the exam and ensure that the jury was in my favor! O His plans to prosper us!

May He create exams only you can pass! May He conjure problems only you can fix! May Pharaohs summon you for being the only solution available. May your talent, innovation, skill, gift — make room for you before greatness. May your diligence and excellence propel you to stand before men that carry great influence and not those that are mean.

To some, perhaps God is working on your track record and it’s being carried to the king. Rejoice and give thanks, you are about to be summoned! And may God teach you how to stand before royalty and keep you humble when your promotion manifests.

And may you know when what plan to prosper you has been set in motion, that you might apply yourself unto wisdom and receive that hope, that expected end, that FUTURE! In Jesus’ name!
