The Lord has need of Your Colt

Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭Now when they drew near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples; and He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it. And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and immediately he will send it here.” So they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door outside on the street, and they loosed it. But some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, loosing the colt?” And they spoke to them just as Jesus had commanded. So they let them go.

The colt is also known as a donkey. And as I was meditating on this, God pointed unto me many other such possessions such as my voice, finances, time, love, talents etc; saying He is in need of them; for the furtherance of the gospel.

Hannah, Jesus is in need of your child! Moses, God is in need of your mouth, to contend with Pharaoh! Rahab, the Lord is in need of your house to hide his spies. Will you lend Him?

Esther, the Lord is in need of your beauty to save a nation. Hosea, He’s in need of your marriage. Jeremiah He’s need of your handwriting. Daniel He’s need of your devotion. Will you heed them?

Peter He’s in need of your boat! Little lad, He’s in need of your five loaves and two bread. Some of you ministers He is need of your spouse to feed His sheep. Miriam, He’s in need of your song. Will you give them?

I pray you will.

For He is the same that gave you Isaac, Abraham. He was the giver of everything He is asking back to use in the first place. He won’t steal your colt; no! He will glorify it! O what conversations it will tell the rest of the donkeys and beasts of the field, when it returns from being ridden on by the King of kings into Jerusalem!

It’s simply no longer ordinary!

It went down in history!

Don’t you see! Jesus doesn’t want to play around with whatever He is asking for. He has great exploits in mind! You only need to permit Him to do as He wishes! You only need to loosen your colt and present it unto Him as a sacrifice.

Hannah gave her son even before God asked for him. And didn’t Samuel become a great judge!

Some of you need to give Him your sad story. Joyce Meyer oft talks about the abuse she received from her father. Though forgiven, it must have not been an easy thing to bring out on any pulpit. Regardless, God has used her story to heal many; to cause many so to forgive.
