Provisions of God

What God spoke to me, from this portion of scripture was never to think if I don’t stand to the occasion, God will watch on. Relief and deliverance for His people can come from somewhere else — or from someone else.

My heart — or your heart must be pure and filled with humility. There are rare cases like Jonah and Jesus. To whom it was predestined to save a certain group of people. But on the other hand, we have also seen men who receive dreams or convictions, to, for example start a church named a specific name.

One preacher said a man heard God’s voice to that regard and he brushed it off. Many years later, he saw the vision of the church God showed him actualized by someone else.

There are assignments that could not be individualistic, and let us not think that the visions God has given us are. What if, like Isaiah, we too stumbled into Heavenly meetings, and said ‘Here I am. Send me’ … only to plateau years later to think if God can’t move on our terms His program won’t proceed!

What if you are not the only one who stumbled into that meeting like Isaiah. What if that very moment, someone miles away, or in another country, or continent heard the same question ‘who will I send…?’

Alas! If you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place …

You may not be that important as you think! It’d be that assignment that could make you a force to reckon with; a mighty nation in the earth! If you slack, you’d die a normal person.

Apostle Selman said, “The prophecy was that a virgin would bear a child. It didn’t say ‘a virgin specifically called Mary…’”

Ouch!

His provisions are such that He will bring help from any direction to someone or to you, in case it involved men who ended up getting in the way — due to various reasons.

If you are the sent one, having an attitude of arrogance, may this message humble you. If you are the one to who men were sent, and they seem to have delayed, may God not give them rest until they reach you. May the seas rage for your Jonah as he escapes to Tarshish. May the whale find him quickly and deliver him so that your city repents and be saved!

And if you are like Moses, may He keep you from falling. May He preserve your soul that the little foxes that try to spoil your vineyard such as anger don’t offend God or grieve His Spirit to cause Him to replace you in the assignment. May His mercy oversee your faults, and His rebuke build your character wholly, so that after preaching to others you don’t get disqualified.

Lord we cry for your mercy, for your grace, and humility. May we finish our individual races as you had planned from the very beginning; and if we find favor in your sight — which we have 🥹 — may we be those found, to carry on assignments that others have rejected without remorse, for the saving of your people and for His glory. In Jesus’ name.
