Awake, Sunday 9th, the word of the Lord came to me: We love Him because He first loved us. (I John 4:19)
God loved us first, and when we understand the depth of that, by default, we get indebted. Indebted to love Him back.
I wanted to apply this to humans as well; but I realized it doesn’t work all the time (though it works sometimes). People have loved people first, and the love wasn’t reciprocated.
I heard God say ‘To some degree, this law is limited to me.’ Though one can try it out as well, for that relationship, for the word also says ‘love never fails.’ If it worked for some of us with God, it can, with some humans. Love them first, and they’d love you eventually. This is love and faith mingled.
This also means, if God was jealous of you first, you must be jealous of Him at whatever point you get to understand how jealous He was of you! — Jealous to the point that He made a way for you to access eternal life, that you would not perish!
Jealous to the point that He gave Himself to you whether or not you understand the gravity of it. Jealous to the point that He ran up to the altar and said ‘I do’ before you ever even knew there was an altar!
And sometimes you might delay to ‘I do’ Him back, and He is a patient person; He won’t shift from the altar! He’ll wait.
But even the very notion of waiting has a deadline. Not for Him — no! He can wait forever. But you who’s being waited for, your grace period in a body is not forever; He’s like the sun. However many trees or animals die, it continues to shine all over the world. So, I pray you rather pass by the church and say ‘I do’ and enter marriage with Him with your undulated path and behavior. He’ll smoothen it out gradually.
He is like Hosea who married Gomer (a prostitute), and kept loving her — who prostituted with others, even after being married.
Eventually, she too came to her senses. And settled down, with He who loved her first. May you understand how jealous and how loving God has been toward you, and may His Spirit in you help you mirror it back effortless: this reckless goodness that leads men to repentance!
Enoch did reciprocate this love, and Heaven could no longer exist without him. He dematerialized off the earth plane.
A preacher said God being jealous of you also means Him not competing with the other gods or things that take priority in your life. He will let you up to those things.
I believed him; but I also believe God won’t let them completely. The Bible shows Him sending Jonah to a people who had completely abandoned Him. He loved them first and so He sent someone to warn them!
Repent or judgement!
He continues to love you despite the other gods, or desires, until you realize He is the real deal; and repent completely. He loves all sinners by granting them breath even as they reject Him, or claim He doesn’t exist!

His loving you first, eventually, puts you in some sort of debt.
How do you then respond to this indebtness?
You must eventually give yourself up too. Lest you leave the God of all you see and don’t —ashamed on the altar alone, like those telenovelas! I think creation would look at you as foolish doing something like that! Why would you not ‘marry’ your maker! He is the sun, remember!?
You become one spirit with Him, (not one flesh, for that is for fleshly marriages). But remember you too are a spirit, and your body will one day stay here; for it can’t live forever. So I’d rather you avow with someone who’s not only forever but is in charge of ‘forever’ itself!
And His love is stubborn. It’ll eventually wear you out who’s running from Him. His love never fails! His hack will in the long run have you loving Him with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength, just like He loved you first.
So I’d rather you avow with someone who’s not only forever but is in charge of ‘forever’ itself!
Heavy on this❤️❤️🧎

Phewwwxxxx that line took me out too when I reread this! Indeed God writes these! Because I go through these and say ‘eh … when did you write these?’
