To the Right and to the Left!

Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited. (NKJV)

This word came back to me last night, as it had weeks ago; but what stood out louder this time, was not the ‘expand’. Rather it was ‘to the right, and to the left.’

Not one option was given, but two. Not only on the right — but the left too! The impression I received … or discerned, was that we are not meant to increase in only what seems working, or in only one direction or dimension but multidimensionally. Not only where we have an upper hand, but in the ‘lower hand’ as well. See how Jacob was cheated by Laban, but He still expanded regardless!

We are not to expand at our jobs only, but in the ‘side hustles’ or secondary ventures as well. Not only one talent is supposed to shine, if we are to go by the parable of talents literally, all talents are supposed to bear a 100 fold.

You should earn not only in your local currency. To those from Uganda, you know how large a pound, and euro are! You expand to the right and to the left! You earn not only shillings but also pounds and euros!

You were not destined to lend to only one nation. The word says ‘nations.’ Both those on your left, and on your right. You not only win souls or turn them to righteousness on one side or in one nationality or one language. On both sides, and any nationality or language you do!

You expand in all things. In wealth, and in the fruit of the womb.

Like God asked Abraham how far to see, your belief and how far you take this blank cheque will determine how far you increase.

So I pray that your faith fails not, and that your imagination — like the builders of Babel, convinces you of how unstoppable you are; and how all things are possible to you! For there is a reason and justification in Psalm 71:21; which says He increases your greatness, and comforts you on every side!

There is an ‘every side’ to your expansion! There is an ‘every side’ to your increase! If there wasn’t, it would not have been written! But it was … so, walk ye in it! And the word says ‘every side’ and not ‘one side.’

So, expand in every!

And when you increase, the Lord warranties security to your fold: NONE SHALL DECREASE! Here is the receipt:
