The Mystery of ‘Head and not Tail’ 2

Therefore the Lord will cut off head and tail from Israel, Palm branch and bulrush in one day. The elder and honorable, he is the head; The prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail. Isaiah‬ ‭9‬:‭14‬-‭15‬

The Bible declared in Deuteronomy 28 that if we obey God’s commandments, one of the blessings that would overtake us would be ‘being heads and not tails! Being above only and not beneath.’

Isaiah 9:14-15 comes and defines for us what the tail and head are in one sense or facet. If we place it back into verse 13 of Deuteronomy 28, it’d read ‘we shall be elders and honorables’. This reminds me of the Proverbs 31 woman’s husband, that he would be known in the gates, and he would sit among the elders of the land.

I have seen how Honorables are treated. I have recently been writing on invitation cards of one of the judicial heads in the country and man, he has a body guard and huge office and when I stated my charge, it was nothing to him! The atmosphere they live in is indeed kingly, or royal. Now imagine that plus angels for extra body guards, and Heaven’s riches for your bank account!

On the other hand, a prophet who lies is THE tail! How does he or she lie? And maybe we must ask ourselves the question: who is a prophet? A prophet is not only one that foretells, but forth-tells.

That means, the former can speak what is to happen in the future. The latter can CREATE the future!

Of course there are prophets who speak words God has not told them! The evidence is in Jeremiah 23;

“They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The Lord has said, “You shall have peace” ’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ (Verse 17)

I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. (Verse 21)

This is the obvious lying. This category consists of manipulative prophets. Those that speak what the people want to hear, and not necessarily the reproof or correction of God to the saints.

This kind as well, speak ill over God’s people! This is a rare case scenario, but hear me out! Some people (after realizing their office in the prophetic, and are confident of it) tend to use it against God’s people for selfish desires.

Say a man is actually in love with a woman who might not love him back. He can easily say ‘I am your husband …’ and he can decree curses if the woman chose to follow another path! That is where discernment must come in!

That aside, prophecy is not primarily by those that sit in the office of the prophetic. You … can be your own prophet in many circumstances. Remember it is not only foretelling but forth-telling. It is CREATING!

2 Peter 1:19 says that God’s word is the most sure word of prophecy! Meaning, it is the blue print of pure authentic prophecy! This word forth-told order out of chaos! This word made everything that was made! So it is only incumbent, that it be the raw material and tool that will make everything you need in your world!

If His word says you shall have whatsoever you say, you shall have it indeed! (Mark 11:23-24)

So if we have this sure word of prophecy, and we have been born again of it (1 Peter 1:23), we are accountable if we speak lies! Jesus is the word made flesh! He said He is the way, the truth and life! He also said those that worship God, must do so in Spirit and in truth!

Truth!

So you LIE when you say you are poor, yet He became poor that you may be rich according to 2 Corinthians 8:9. You lie when you say you are sick, yet He said none from Zion shall say ‘I am sick’ according to Isaiah 33:24. When we speak contrary to truth, when we speak contrary to His Word, we lie, and we slide to the scale pan of ‘tail-ship.’

Remember Isaiah (in the theme verse) described to us what a tail is! Prophets who lie! If He says none from Zion shall say … but then you say … you disobey the command! Deuteronomy 28 says if we obey … these blessings shall OVERTAKE us. But have we obeyed? I personally have spoken ill sometimes! But His Spirit convicts me, and I repent immediately, and scream His word of life!

See how of the lying prophets you belong to — sometimes!? See how we say what is in our heart and not necessarily in God’s Word’s heart!?

Ah, may His mercy reroute us! May His teaching present us blameless prophets unto Him! Holy Spirit grant us and activate the fruit of self-control in us, to catch our tongues from speaking lies! Oh we petition you sweet lover! Entreat us with power over self to rule our spirits O sovereign King! That we will remain elders and honorables alone! Heads alone! Above only — alone!

A warning to those that understand their positions in the prophetic is to have self control, especially over their tongue, and to sift their thoughts by divine intervention and scrutiny before letting out anything. Perhaps maybe praying long enough for a particular issue until God’s own voice becomes nagging with confirming signs accompanying…

And to the rest of us, we ought to speak as the oracles of God! A preacher once said, ‘never declare something over yourself (or others) that God would not say!’ If God says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, we have no business disqualifying ourselves — or others as ugly.

Jesus said ‘by this, everyone shall know that we are his disciples, if we love one another.’ (John 13:35) But how do we love one another! By learning firstly, how He has loved us! Song of Solomon demonstrates unending lines of sweetness towards us. His banner over us is love; He praises our eyes and necks (we, represented by the woman as His bride) … and so, we mustn’t or shouldn’t call others fools, or failures or unworthy! — even when they may not know certain scripture!

We must remember that Jesus died for them as well! That God loves them as well! And if you haven’t noticed, the words we speak to others get etched in the concrete of their meditation. They soon believe it! And if it is a lie, and it creates a belief system in them: that they are far from redemption, or companionship, or forgiveness, we might drive them farther from God! We’ve heard cases of people committing suicide over such! And we claim we were only joking!

The Bible says the prophet who lies is a tail! In part one, I explained how an animal or human being can’t live without a head — but can exist without a limb or tail! I have seen lizards prosper well without tails! If we lie, we position ourselves as tails: Parts that are needless! Parts that others can do without! And even if you are a dream interpreter Joseph darling, but have lied … Pharaoh may end up not needing you! 😭😭😭😭

God help us!

God help us!

God help us!

If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬ ‬‬

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬

For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. ‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬
