Light & the Nocturnals

I have learnt from experience, some of the characteristics of nocturnal animals. Those who don’t know about them, these are mostly active at night, and in Africa we are aware of them.

In my room, that’s where the sugar is kept. Once the lights go off in the night, all manner of fidgeting is heard as cockroaches race through the sack of the sugar. Once the light is switched back on, the movements stop — SILENCE!

When the light is off again, the cycle repeats.

This is the same for mosquitoes and cockroaches in kitchens and bedbugs. Once when I awoke for a midnight snack, I found clans of roaches in the kitchen after the dishes and food buckets. Like Flash, each skedaddled to the nearest crevice once I turned on the light.

The bedbugs also perform their vampire sucking in the deep dark… but all these flee once the light comes on, and from observance, it’s hard to find them lurking during broad day light!

They are really hard to find.

Where am I going with this?

Well, let’s use this to teach us about spirituality.

The sicknesses, poverty, and every other elements of the kingdom of darkness are the same like these pests. They come out and bite wherever there is no LIGHT! Switch the light on and they will disperse!

Now, you’d be a christian and you have revelation (light) about perfect health. (This could be light in only one of your rooms) But if you have only the light concerning health and not that concerning wealth (the light in another room as well), you’ll still be broke!

It is therefore prudent to have light in every room, and about about every aspect of life. This will be revelation about everything, and so you will not need to always go for ‘deliverance services’, but rather have your room’s light always on, and the vermin will stay away!

Jesus exaggerated by saying you’re the light of the world. This means that you only need to have a revelation of what your true nature & identity is, and when you awake, you won’t need to switch on the light in the room — you’ll be the light in fact, meaning the cockroaches won’t even bother coming out for you’re not a bulb that you can switch off or on. NO! Yours is a constant radiation of light shinning brighter and brighter the longer you live. Even after your death, it won’t go out!

If you understand what you are, and who you are in God, then your light will keep out the disease. It’ll keep out the poverty. And the brighter you shine, your light will shed onto others, keeping poverty and disease out of their lives, just like how Jesus’ light caused Him to heal the sick that came to Him!

O how glorious! How magnificent!
