Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His [robe] filled the temple.
A close friend just opened our eyes to something of utter importance in this scripture, whose emphasis is in ‘His robe’. For those who don’t know what a train of a robe looks like, welcome to the modern age.
They are uncommon today unlike in the medieval ages, but below is how they look like.

These were worn by kings on special ceremonies such as coronations, but earlier kings had a custom of cutting a piece of a robe from every king they defeated sewing it to their robes. This meant that the more kings or battles they won, the longer the trains of their robes would be!
Isaiah saw the Lord’s robe train fill the temple. This could be equated to a river’s length, for the temple he saw in the vision could be on a much larger scale than our normal houses.

Here’s an image where God’s train is showed winding round several pillars trying to fit in the temple; emphasizing to us how many battles God has fought and won! These battles aren’t His per se, as kings often represented a people.
These battles include your forefathers’ (like the Israelites, against the Amalekites, Moabites, Canaanites, Philistines, Syrians, Jebusites etc…), they include yours, and I’m sure they include those of people not yet born, and yet they are believers!
How? Well, to God the past present and future are all now, unlike unto you. So when Isaiah sees that, He’s seeing a representation of victory that is not yet even past in the physical.
I see myself in that room. I see God’s train having robes of battles I’m still fighting … and yet seeing that He already has those pieces, only means He has already won those battles too.
Those include battles of my children, and their children… This wonderful revelation applies to you too! For that battle you’re in right now. He has already won it for you!
God’s train also contains the robe that once was the devil’s. He was defeated. And therefore he has nothing to deceive you about. He has no arsenal, nor instruments of power. He was defeated in the past before you were even born. Isaiah saw it. I see it! And I hope you do see it too!
That’s God’s CV, friend. He won’t fail yet. He has an experience in fighting battles that is ageless, He has hobbies that include war craft and disarming, He has skills you know nothing of, and He can speak all languages in the world … He made them after all!
He can be trusted! He can bring you out of that pit! Entrust Him with the job of overseeing your life.
You won’t regret it!

Exodus 14:13-14 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
