A Reason for you to Rejoice!

Psalms 104:31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

We are His works! His masterpieces. If I, an artist rejoice in every masterpiece I make, how much more the maker of the artist? Ahhh He rejoices (please note:) not just about his works, not just over his works, but INNNNN them.

He is that voice in you, making you sing, and be glad and joyful. That’s a limit that I don’t have. As an artist, I can’t enter every artpiece I have made and rejoice in them!

But we see God rejoice in us, by firstly making us out of His image. That’s Him in us already! A technique He used to be omnipresent in each of His works to rejoice in them.

Now if He rejoices in them…(which is you), then there’s something wrong if you don’t rejoice in yourself. How can the maker of a product be completely satisfied with it, and the product isn’t satisfied with itself!

How can the pot think it is short! No wonder this potter—God— in His wisdom, instead finds a way to be part of the pot itself, so that if the pot’s voice can’t amplify itself to rejoice, then He Himself can be the other voice within the pot, that the pot hears always rejoicing about it, until the pot is convinced that it is worth it; being all things beautiful.

That is God for you! May this be one of the reasons for you to rejoice in you! You’re beautiful. You’re talented! Let nobody suffocate the greatness in you! You’re enough. You’re complete! You don’t need any other human to complete you! Your maker already did that!

You lack in nothing! You’re awesome! You’re astounding! You’re fearfully and wonderfully made! If your maker rejoices over you! Who are you not to? See yourself through His eyes!

Rejoice!

And as the theme scripture said, His glory endures forever… The psalmist keeps saying, ‘His love endures forever.’ God is the chief long-sufferer. If you still have issues with your perfection through His eyes, He’ll rejoice in you so long, so much, until there’s no more ounce of doubt in you due to his irritation, luring you into the full truth of all that you are—glorious!

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.
