Knowing

A couple of days ago, while I held a cup of spiced tea, a bee showed up. ‘Shoo’ I said. Only for it to disappear and return with a mate. They were two now, buzzing and irritating me.

It was at a construction site. I left that floor and went to a lower one.

Ah…peace.

I had taken barely two swigs when the bees returned, and they were close to five. I forcefully swallowed that tea, and threw away that disposable cup.

After that flight, God talked to me about the bees. “You see,” He said, ever so gently, “The bees knew where to find the sugar. It is in them to know where to find nectar. However much you ran, they still knew, as if they had a radar, and hunted you down.”

In the middle of that conversation, He brought up 1 John 2:20. I’ll quote the amplified version that comes with elucidations.

“But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things.”

The part that yelled loud deep within my spirit was, ‘YOU KNOW ALL THINGS!’, just as equivalent, to the bees having known where the sweetness was.

What does that mean?

Let me share some examples in life to drive this point home. Once upon a time, I passed by a mansion. Every time I did, something in my spirit nudged or budged. I can’t really explain it, but when it happens, you’ll know! I don’t know if this helps but it felt like a baby kicking inside a woman’s womb.

Months later, that appeared to be the home to my best friend. I was exhilarated when I discovered it, and meeeeen have I had adventures with him.

That same thing happened when I passed another home years later. Later I discovered that a destiny friend (now a very close sister) lived there, and boy have we had adventures as well in the gospel, and the life of God.

It is now, backwards, that I discover the ‘knowing of all things’. The Holy Spirit was signaling me all those times about people I hadn’t even met.

When Adam saw Eve, immediately, He knew her. The knowing was indeed as though Eve was part of her (which she was since she was his rib preciously). He didn’t go about asking who this woman was. Straight away, he said ‘bone of my bone.’

I believe there was an inward witness in him, like I had in me, telling me all those things that I discovered later. This is majorly because it is a spirit of a man that knows the deep things of a man, and so in the same way, it is the spirit of God, who knows all these things of God.

Remember in God all things consist. In Him we live and move and have our being. Everything is in God somewhere somehow. Why shouldn’t God then know about it! He must! Without Him nothing was made that was made.

He knows you. He knows your spouse. He knows your children. He knows their children. O if only you’d be so joined to Him in one spirit, none of these would still be a mystery! He knows the past, the present, the future!

If you are one with Him, having grown in the knowledge of Him, then you know your house, you know your spouse, you know how your future ought to look like! Why? You are one with the one who knows all things. And like to Abraham, He says, ‘shall I keep this away from my servant Biggie?’

No—!

If you don’t know some of these things, then continue to grow in the knowledge of God. Like I have said many times, a man and a woman get to discover more about each other the longer they get to know each other (before they get married)

God—the Holy Spirit, helped one of my inner circle friends with her child. He had been crying for months—something about his scalp. She told me this, “I told the Holy Spirit that He knows all things, and exactly why my son was crying. Suddenly I received an impression on how to comb my son’s hair. He has since stopped crying about his head. See God!”

God knows the best way you can please your spouse, beyond the love languages you know. He knows how to align that wayward child (after all He made him). He knows the number of hair on your head. Why would He know such a detail and then not know something with more weight such as your spouse… (I apologize for overusing the spouse example, I think God wants to deliver someone concerning that area)

But…

My prayer for you today, is that God may drive you to that point in intimacy with Him, where all you might need to know, will become known to you, for the sake of your sanity, so that you’re not worried about certain things in your life.

May He reveal Himself more to you! So that like the bees, you’ll know, naturally, almost effortlessly, ‘where to find the nectar’.
