Objects of Glory

Isaiah 43:7 Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”

If you’re called by the Lord’s name, this is for you; You were made for His glory. There’s no other reason less for your making.

Isaiah 62:3-4 You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the LORD delights in you, And your land shall be married.

You’re God’s object of glory. You bring Him glory in what you do. In your sitting and rising, He’s glorified. In your walking and driving, He’s glorified. In your marriage or singleness, He’s glorified.

In your sleeping and bathing, He’s glorified. In your praying and fasting, He’s glorified. In your reading of His word, He’s glorified. In your children, He’s glorified. In your business or at your workplace, He’s glorified.

He’s glorified everywhere you are. For He made you for His glory. Forget those who said you’d never measure up. Forget those who put you down and called you worthless. God is reminding you today, the sole purpose for His creating you!

In your beauty, He’s glorified. In your mere existing, He’s glorified. You bring Him joy. Joy oh joy! And for that He says…

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And MY GLORY (the glory of the LORD) is risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1)

How must you respond then? You’re wondering… He gives the answer to that too.

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! (Isaiah 52:1-2)

Awaking is ‘coming to the realization…’ Now that you’ve realized that for His glory was why you were made, PUT IT ON! Walk in that truth! Don’t deny it! Shake yourself from the dust — the shame, the past. Renew your mind to this glorious nature of you!

You were made for His glory! Believe this every second of your life. Everyday—every hour. In the sad times, remember this as well. God sees glory when He sees you!

And to seal this off, Isaiah says again in the 29th chapter of His book, that the clay can’t tell the potter why he has chosen to make it a specific way. God has made you glorious! And since you’re the clay, you can’t question His judgement. (Haha) Just like none of us ever chose our parents while we came into the world, God decided that you’d bring Him glory—and you can’t change that!

Rise to the occasion oh Object of Glory! His very own glory is awash over you! And it increases each and every single day! Hallelujah (Prov 4:18, 2 Cor 3:18)

All that you are brings Him Glory!

Isaiah 60:9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
