Fan your Flames

Of recent, I was winding into the blues, having noticed that I was writing more blogs than people out there were reading.

Then God answered me saying,

“Will shops wait for you to arrive so that they could open? No! You are not their only customer!

Will TV stations stop airing their programs because you are not watching them? No! They will keep their daily agendas since you could not be their favorite viewer even!

Will the river complain at those who opt for solar power instead of its hydroelectricity? No, it will keep flowing!

Will the sun stop rising because someone stayed in bed all day and didn’t recognize it was up all day? No! It will keep shining for the plants that need its light for photosynthesis!

Will God sympathise with you when His word seems not to have worked in your life? No! You’re the problem. He’ll continue working for those who believe to the core!

Maybe not everyone will benefit from you. But let that not make you forget those who will! Maybe not everyone will contact you for the services or products your business or company provides. Let that not make you think you’re not worthwhile.

There are individuals and nations who are going to have needs that only you or your company can meet! So don’t stop doing what you do! Don’t sleep on the job.

Encourage yourself. Speak over yourself. Motivate yourself. Dream again! As you prepare, opportunity will fall on you, and success will be inevitable.”

So from God’s wisdom, I was strengthened. I was reminded of the lesson I learnt from the Israelites as they encountered the red sea. Regardless, they moved forward. That’s your word.

Met the sea? Split it! Found a mountain? Move it!

Keep your dream alive! Keep your business alive! For what use is anything, if its heart stops beating? Fan your flame! You just never know who’s depending on it to receive their own.

You need to be alive so that someone stays alive! Extinguish your flame and all those a thousand matchsticks in line after you will never know what it means to BURN!

2 Timothy 1:6 That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire] that is in you by means of the laying on of my hands
