Genesis 28:16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew [it] not.
Many of us, yes children of God; many of us enjoy the presence of God, but perhaps it has become so common to us that we take it for granted.
We’ve grown familiar…
We think we’ve reached the bottom of the bottomless God.
So many of us are deceived; to pick up that phone call when He is trying to tell us something deep; to go shopping for dinner and cook when He has arrived; to go put children to sleep the hour we set apart for Him and yet the hour we were to put children to sleep we were watching the news or a series…
We are deceived! We are deceived to; get up and start serving in church when it’s time for the Word; get a quick shower when it’s time for prayer; reply that whatsapp when it’s bible-study time… Oh how we’ve been robbed!
You see The word says that God is faithful even when we are not! (2 Tim 2:13) He can’t deny Himself. Meaning He’ll show up at every designated meeting He’s supposed to be at whether or not you’re present.
No wonder we see that on the same row where an adulterous woman is weeping bitterly and repentantly, receiving the love of the Father, there’s another twenty-five year old wondering what time the church service will end!
He’s been deceived and can’t tell that Heaven is in that place! He might think He’s well-off and not realize that Heaven isn’t open just for us to receive it, but also to realize that we too can receive the keys and ability to carry it everywhere we go and make thousands more experience it and receive the love of he Father just like that adulterous woman!
So? Will you help me? Will you help me be a little more present for the Father! Will you grieve not? Will you grieve not the Holy Spirit? Will you close your eyes? Will you close your eyes and avail your body as well into the Holy of Holies? Will you take hold? Will you take hold of your wandering mind and teach yourself discipline on how to behave when you approach the Throne of Grace?!
The word says that God is faithful even when we are not! (2 Tim 2:13) He can’t deny Himself. Meaning He’ll show up at every designated meeting He’s supposed to be at whether or not you’re present. Don’t claim that you didn’t feel His power. Don’t accuse Him that He didn’t touch you! He was faithful but you were NOT present! He tried to get your attention but you were attending to something else!
Yes your physical could have made it, but your spirit was somewhere else…and remember, God is Spirit! To relate to you, your spirit ‘gat to be around’!!!
Heaven is in that place! Don’t let it pass you by!
distraction is a lack of faithfulness…wow… revelation
