Wisdom is the Promoter/Anointing of Association

Dan 2:48 Then the King promoted Daniel and gave Him many gifts and he made Him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief administrator over all the wise of Babylon

Dan 3:30 Then the King promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon

In the first verse, Daniel had just described and interpreted a dream which Nebuchadnezzar had had. He had threatened to kill all the wise men in his kingdom if they had not interpreted it. Because of Daniel, they were spared and he got promoted.

The latter is where Daniel’s 3 friends were told to bow down and worship an idol and they refused. They were to be burnt, but the fire failed to even touch their skin. In awe, the king got them out and then did what is written in verse 30.

From a threat for Daniel and a trial for the other three, promotion was unlocked, but who truly gave it. Notice the scriptures say ‘…and the king promoted…’

God opened my eyes to this saying, He intentionally put it that way so that He concealed a matter; and this was the matter; He was the true promoter.

Psalms 75:6-7 says ‘Promotion comes from neither the east nor from the west nor from the south…But God is the judge; He puts down one, and He sets UP another.’

Though God is the promoter, how did Daniel and the 3 get Him to promote them? They feared Him, and Proverbs 9:10 says ‘…the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.’

No wonder Daniel was wise enough to interprete Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. This wisdom saved the other wise men and Daniel was put in charge over them. This fear of the Lord will set you apart and make you wise among the wise! It’ll make you rich among the rich so that even the rich call you ‘rich’. This just demonstrates extra levels to which this wisdom will elevate us.

The fear here; is not the bad kind, where you think the Lord is out to whip you if you don’t do this or that. This fear here is holding Him in high regard, esteeming His command to you highly, and this can only be better demonstrated by your obedience.

If you don’t obey God; yes, even when you don’t tithe as He has instructed, you do not fear Him, and if you don’t fear Him, you are not wise, and if you lack wisdom, you will not be promoted. Could it be that this is the reason why you are not getting promoted at your work place? (Selah)

The anointing of association comes simply from Proverbs 13:20, which says; ‘He who walks with the wise, becomes wise.’

In the book of Daniel, almost everywhere, whenever Daniel got promoted, the three also got promoted. It was an automatic ripple effect. They walked with the wise (Daniel) and they became wise. I’ll give an example;

Pastor Moses Mukisa wrote a book about finances in 2018 called Straight Forward Financial Growth.(It has sold thousands of copies. Proverbs 3,4 and 8 talk about how riches are children of wisdom.)

Moses obtained a specific wisdom about finances and all those, both in his inner circle and who practice the principles he teaches, obtain the same results he manifests.

The anointing works in such a way that sometimes, even when he receives the miraculous in the financial realm, somehow, those under him receive the same! It’s too hard for you to come up with a formula for this, but I have associated and walked with this wealthy man, and followed the instructions given by him, and I’ve found myself getting wealthier and wealthier.

How quick you respond to God’s instruction is the measure by which you can gauge your fear of Him. He says if you love Him, take heed to (obey) His words. If you want to be promoted, get wisdom. To get wisdom, fear the Lord. To fear the Lord, obey His words. To obey His words, take heed unto them…but you can’t take heed to something you don’t know…
