Looking at the sky yesterday evening I beheld clouds sailing calmly across the picturesque sky. Immediately a scripture came to mind. A promise from God. Here it is;
Isaiah 60:8-9 Who are these who fly like a cloud, and like doves to their windows? Surely the isles and distant coastlands shall wait for and expect Me; and the ships of Tarshish [shall come] first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of the Lord your God, for the Holy One of Israel, because He has beautified and glorified you.
Have you ever observed ships on water, their sailing motion is as identical as that of the clouds in the sky. You then can see how the clouds reminded me of the Isaiah 60 promise; that ships would bring back Israel’s sons & their wealth with them.
This could mean the lost ones, who God’s heart still beats for. In relation, this speaks to me in a way that I’d receive more people to disciple and father. This year for example a prophecy came that I’d receive more sons and daughters. Such a scripture confirms the prophecy.
When I look at the birds flying or feeding, I remember Matthew 6:26 which says
Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?
That reminds me not to worry about a thing whatsoever. However bad situations might seem.
When I look at palm trees I remember Jeremiah 17:7-8
[Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.
I am green throughout the year. I don’t flourish once in a while. No! I’m constantly doing so year in, year out! That’s my nature! All I do prospers (Psa 1:3)
What’s my objective today? I’m here to say, ‘Creation reminds… It reminds us who we are. It reminds us how much God loves us. How much He has glorified us and so much more!’
I know you have been blessed by this! Kindly SHARE in the comment section, how creation has REMINDED you of who you are or of God’s promises!
God’s love towards me is unconditional. The same God causes the sun to shine on all of us equally. We are called His own regardless of how many times we walk off the course of life…. He says come unto me and I will give you rest… He reminds!
