Is Your Business Registered In Heaven?

Weeks ago, I was having a stroll with God, and He brought up the topic of businesses. After the 8th March Business Garage, (a service by Worship Harvest that targets business men and women equipping them with principles for businesses) I was put under instruction to set a time where I pray over others’ businesses and mine.

Amidst this particular prayer, this conversation belamp.

When you First Fruit…

Licious foods is a fruity cookie company launched by my big brother Samuel Agaba. In January after the thought of its starting, God asked him to give first fruit of the business. Obviously he hesitated, but no one can out win God.

He gave the first fruit. The business launched successfully around February! A few weeks later, I met Sam. He was going to bank some cash in the business bank account.

“Biggie, you can never guess what just hit me?” He enthusiastically bulged his eyes.

“What!” I exclaimed.

“So, I just checked the account balance. We’ve already surpassed the million mark! We’ve made over a million shillings in sales!”

The speed by which things were happening in his business were supernatural! Not only was the speed implausible. The business was attracting other confectionary moguls, who confessed that Sam’s cookies were better (in a way) than theirs.

That’s when it hit Sam. The First Fruit he had given resulted into all this. To those who don’t know what First Fruit is, it is the one out of one. Your first profits as a whole. Giving in your First salary as a whole, without removing a since coin…etc.

When you first fruit, the Bible states that the rest of the lump shall be made holy.(Romans 11:16) ‘The rest of the lump’ here means…The rest of your economic year / your year in business; The rest of your profits…

Holy things don’t cripple or fall sick. God is holy. Now imagine your business being just as God is; holy! The word holy means perfect and flawless. Yes your numbers can go skyward and skyward only. Yes you might not yet be there….but increase is inevitable when you first fruit.

Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

The message versions says your barns will BURST, your vats will brim over. Barns are storehouses. Storehouses today can be equated to your business bank accounts! They’ll BURST!

Do you want the ATM machine to burst when you go to withdraw cash from your business account? Then take first fruit seriously. Or if you still doubt, ask Sam!

As I continued to talk to God, He said,

“When You Tithe…your business gets registered in Heaven!”

When you tithe…

Moses Mukisa, a John C. Maxwell certified leadership coach and author of the 2018 and 2019 book of the year Straight Forward Financial Growth states that, when we tithe, God becomes our business partner!

Now, imagine the God who created all you see, being your business partner!

(My brain is freezing now. What an unfathomable observation!)

When you tithe, your businesses appear in the Heavenly Registers. They become agents through which God can make the kingdoms of this world become His very own kingdoms. Your businesses get to subdue and have dominion on the earth.

I forgot to define what tithe is. Tithe is 10% of your total profits. That particular amount belongs to God. Yes your business might not have a soul, but tithing gives it one. Why? On earth it may appear as if you’re taking that 10% to your church, but in Heaven, it’s translated into gold (as it is the currency that’s used in heaven) and it’s kept in your heavenly business vault.

The blessing falls on the brand. You are the brand, and your business is an extension of the brand called you! Both you and the business experience it for your business is simply a clon of you!

Now remember, God doesn’t need your money. He needs you to practise the principles He set in place since time immemorial to help you unlock the treasures He’s kept aside for you.

In Genesis 14:17-20, we see Abraham give a tithe of the spoil he’d won from a war. You do not tithe to get blessed, no! Rather, you tithe because you are already blessed! When you tithe, you acknowledge that God is your business partner, and when you do, check out what happens…

Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, ” If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you [such] blessing That [there will] not [be room] enough [to receive it.]

Opening of the windows of heaven happens twice, earlier in the old testament. I’ll focus on the first time; when the flood poured out in Noah’s time. This was the first time rain fell out of the sky.

Whenever you see the windows of heavens anywhere, get ready for whatever the windows have in store. It shall be superfluous, prodigal and extra!

Now I can’t say exactly what will happen for your sake but for mine, I have found that the blessing it talks about, has been uncommon favor, more connections, higher demand for my products, elevation in standards, access to unfamiliar lands (for example; clients in the President’s Office, the Ministry of Finance) and so much more!

As I continued to hearken unto God’s construing concerning tithe, He said,

“Just imagine, If Café Javas or KFC or McDonalds or Coca Cola tithed! All they have is basic customer care or brand longevity but not the supernatural blessing! I have no hand in their success and they seem to be doing good, but just imagine I got involved as a partner! How far would they be?”

I was petrified when I heard this...

Yes these companies give to charity, just like any man out there can give to another (even if the giver is a terrorist)… the giving principle will still work for them. It’s a spiritual law just like gravity is a natural law. More will return to he who gives,even if that person is ignorant of the vantages of giving

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”(Luk 6:38)

When you tithe, note, God says, “Try me and see if I will not open…” This is the only time we see God DARE us! Recognize the difference between the tithing verse and the giving one.

For tithing, God says ‘I’. For giving, He says ‘It’. That by default distincts the act of giving and tithing! Tithing gets God involved. If big companies tithed, then God would be involved.

In a way, Every tither is a giver but not every giver is a tither.

The evolvement therefore is thus: Giving, tithing and finally first fruiting. When you practise giving, the habit makes it easier for you to tithe. When you tithe, the habit soon will make it easier for you to first fruit. It’s hard to jump straight from giving 1/100 to giving 100/100. That is like forcing an eaglet straight out of an egg to fly on its first day!

First fruiting and tithing are not for the faint of heart. It’s not just 1/100 like giving. It’s specific and ought to be done out of revelation. By this I mean, you’ll need God to communicate to you how often you’ll do what & when.

For example you can give first fruit yearly but God can ask you to give it monthly. It could be cash earned per week for a whole month. That would mean giving that cash per first week of a month. And then tithing every other week as per his word’s need.

If all this is a bit overwhelming, you can return later to take it in. Let me finish the remaining points I wanted to make;

When you give…

John Rockefeller is recorded as the richest man that ever lived in modern history with a networth of over 400 Billion US dollars. His core biblical principle was Luke 6:38 which is about giving. When we give, we increase (Prov 11:24) but increasing is not the same thing as the windows of heaven opening…

Yes, John gained the steel industry, the oil industry, but he was a level short if compared to William Colgate. Today, in Uganda, 10 out of 100 people could know Rockefeller, but 100 out of 100 know colgate (the toothpaste)

According to Wikipedia, William Colgate reverse tithed. He gave 10% of his income, then 20%,30% unto 50%. No wonder every toothpaste is called Colgate. Widely in Uganda, the word toothpaste has been replaced by the word ‘colgate’. Now that’s Dominion.

What I mean here is, a child is sent to buy ‘colgate’ and even if the child brings a different brand of toothpaste say sensodyne or delident, he or she won’t be punished. Why? Every toothpaste is colgate to the indigenous! achieved even.

Just imagine the term ‘phone’ being replaced by ‘samsung’. That’s what colgate has done! One day the definition of toothpaste could be Colgate. I feel that has already been achieved. Imagine that as your brand effect. Imagine that as your story! Imagine you start a sugar company called sucrose and when they ask a child to define sugar, they reply ‘Sugar is Sucrose.‘

Do you see the effect of Colgate’s tithing? Through generations, his product has conquered. It has not run bankrupt. It has not fallen under bad leadership. The evidence of God’s involvement is vivid and visible.

In a nutshell;

⚪ Giving is primary level, tithing secondary and first fruit university!

⚪ Giving is a recipe for increase. Tithing is an acknowledgement of the blessing. First fruit is an act of honor of the blesser.

⚪ Giving increases anyone. Tithing invites and involves God. First fruit makes your business (or finances) take the very nature and form of God. This is where someone says ‘I used your product, and this rash that never left suddenly vanished.’ ‘I bought my mother your product. It’s the best thing she’s ever received. It caused reconciliation between her and I.’ ‘I walked into your business headquarters, and my fibroids and tumors left!’…

⚪Tithing recognizes that God is your business partner! It instills in you a habit to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. God gets to receive the 10% of his shareholding!

(In conclusion) When you tithe,

⚪Your brand outshines other brands. It takes the lead in that field.

⚪ God opens doors for you to have these other nations submitted to you

⚪ Your Business’ registers are continually updated in Heaven

⚪ A savings account of gold where no moth can reach nor man steal is opened up for you.

⚪ When you are in danger of any sort, God HIMSELF, comes to your rescue with a zero interest rate… (It’s not just any human coming to bail you out with a list of terms and conditions of exaggerated interest rates)

⚪ More business ideas come to your mind. All heaven’s inventions (that haven’t been manifested on earth yet) are at your disposal…accessible and within your grasp.

⚪ God trusts you more as well! He then positions you to start giving you other brands and businesses that you never began.

⚪ Your brand outlasts you. Even after you’re dead it carries on, expanding to the four corners of the earth: employing millions. Doubt it? Ask William Colgate!Why? It’s because he took on God’s dare, and took Him for His word.

And the list goes on and on for different folk… as I was sharing from my own personal experience.

Big Companies exist yes, but ask yourself ‘Are they known by God?’ If you tithe as a business, it doesn’t matter how small you might be at the moment! God knows your business! HRSB (Heaven Registration Service Bureau) has your company registered and you have its full support.

I’m not saying don’t learn from Amazon or Alibaba. Implement all tactics their founders might teach. Use that knowledge to build your brand (not forgetting God’s own from his word) but do not ENVY them.

To Heaven, you are much greater than the biggest franchise or company or business that doesn’t tithe!

Keep your tithing game on! Your business, like you, has a heavenly mission to feed nations and the poor!
