Biggie’s Masterpieces

Today I would like to take you through my art portfolio. These are some of my greatest works. I believe all I do is the best for that moment as I wait on my hands to continue to grow as my prowess mutates and evolves for the better. Here’s some of the thousands, that have been made by my hand.

1. The Suspendeds (October 2016)

This was a discovery that sparked a new floor. Previously, I had been making plain simple cards since high school. All that was admirable was the deployment of color and calligraphy. Now I had obtained a new technique that was first applied in this Celebrating Love card. The love letters are on a different altitude than the rest of the card. I call such; The Suspendeds.

2. I AM (December 2017)

I had just turned 20 here. That comes with increase in technique. I discovered framing. But it was so expensive I don’t think anyone was willing to pay for it. This is all I ever framed and in fact, gave it out as a gift during a Secret Santa party. It cost me about 50000/- minus the art, but just the framing and transport.

3. 50 Shades Of Love (February 2018)

My painting game went a notch up. Blending the aspect of painting with that of penning, plus a little suspense brought out these remarkable artifacts. My value finally settled at 10000/- for these, as initially I felt guilty whenever I tried to charge over 5000/- itself. Why? I spent hours on them of course. I was turning time into value.

4. The Invention Of The Feather: My Trademark (September 2018)

The induction of the feather was quite a timely invention. I always loved picking feathers from giant birds like turkeys. I just never knew why until one day, a feather fell on top of mounting board that I had shaped into a card. Eureka!

I stitched it on permanently using super glue & wood glue. My my, little did I know that that would become my signature trademark, and 99% of the customers today include, ‘Put a feather on it’ as they place their orders.

Nationwide (and soon worldwide) my renown is preceded by the feather. A friend receives a card from a stranger and he quickly knows it’s by me even before asking. Isn’t God, this idea giver, wonderful?

5. Simple Frames (March 2019)

The Frames returned after a whole year of hibernation. This time, I was in a space where they could be afforded. They ranged up and down but they began at 80000/- And then I made a survey one day. I asked my friends and clients, ‘how much would you charge this if you were the one who made it?’ Their feedback shocked my heart out its lung enclosements! ‘I’d sell it at 120k…’

‘What!’…

There’s this one masterpiece I had valued at 150000/-, and my friend said,

‘I’d sell it at 300k!’

Shut Up!’ My mind went.

All in all, my mind concluded. ‘You are under valuing yourself!’ So I continued to stretch my mind around this recalibration of my financial thermostat.

6. Customizing Journals (April 2019)

While on Instagram, I watched another artist who practised calligraphy on almost every surface he’d find. The complexity he added to the plain surfaces was breathtaking. After watching the video, my fingers were itching. I had a plain journal! So, I went on to add the beautiful words you see upon it. Trust me you don’t want to see the boredom I had just concealed. Later I realized thousands of people have plain journals or notebooks. I quickly drew the quotation table for the different sizes of books there’s and put it out there!

7. Pimping Phone Cases (April 2019)

Following the journal journey, I noticed another potential subtle canvas: phone cases! I began with mine, and slowly, the hunger to have phone cases personalized spread across the nation by the help & power of social media.

On a daily, I’d find an unknown contact whatsapping me inquiring where I was situated. Business BOOMED! Of course other kinds of customizing exist, but my kind was on such a high demand that it just swept across all the lands.

8. Customizing Laptops (June 2019)

Still following the previous predecessor-branches, laptop surfaces came on board. The biggest challenge was the fading of the acrylic ink off the surfaces. I kept on praying for a solution which arrived in September the very same year. Application of strong nail polish over the words months later that would crack off. I needed a better solution! In January 2020, I discovered a stronger sealing component: Varnish! No word can fade off now!

9. Wooden Plaques (April 2019)

It wasn’t long before I was bound to fall on another surface called wood. I can only say wood has its awesome story as well. It’d be limited for having a few colors compared to paper as background, but that’s a side whose shortcoming is so minimal. These range from 200000/- and up, as they involve payment of the labor by carpenters.

10. Grand Masterpieces (April 2019)

These are my favorite! They take days or weeks to complete. They require uttermost diligence! The process goes from planning out the board, spacing, sketching and finally carefully writing the words, painting whatever needs to.

From the backup I received from the Simple Frames, I took the game to an even entirely different universe. Why? Well, the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci, is worth 650Million USD. What if I sell at only 300000/- what would be valued at 100 million one day when I’m in that class of moguls? I have to see myself there already and the world will catch up later.

So in faith, I stepped out. The Okujas masterpiece was for a friend who has supported me big time as though I was her real son. After finishing the masterpiece, it was extremely breathtaking that I had to inquire of the Holy Spirit how much it was worth? A flat figure was dropped in my heart:‘One Million!’ I told her after hours of shock!

She replied with ‘Okay’.

‘Did she just say OK?’

Well, she did. And she cleared it all in instalments! I got comfortable with big digits now…and continued to grow my value. The Mukisas masterpiece (that with an M) was at Three Million. Later, I discovered the production cost and art value combined, lived up to the financial value being asks of the client.

11. Pimping Shoes (November 2019)

There’s no limit to what art can do. I found my hands upon other surfaces as well at only 30000/-

12. 3D Cards

With age, my mind grows wiser. I applied the suspenders’ technicality with several glued cut board pieces glued in an indefinite shape but yet beautiful and special! This particular card takes lots of hours to manufacture but it makes me so proud I get to wish I was the one receiving it! This is a brief of what will be a global movement one day! What makes my art different is; it carries an impactful power to keep those involved united.

The Okujas’ buyer talks about how her kids enjoy reading the declarations inscribed
on the masterpiece hanging in their living room. As they read those words daily, they get to stick in their minds, until they form their identity. Phrases like ‘We are generous, We are kind…’ transform them, renewing their thinking and in the end that dictates how they’ll treat other children at school!

That right there is what’s called psychological and social renewal! Feel free to order yourself any of my masterpieces which fully express what’s in your mind and bring out the unwritten you so that you keep staring and reading it until your mind accepts nothing less than what you read off the Masterpiece!
