Same Yesterday Today & Forevermore.

Today, I watched the 1956 movie, called The Ten Commandments. It was about Moses of course, but the picture brings to mind a theme our minds might miss!

You see whether using stars or sand to demonstrate as He did to Abraham God still speaks. Whether helping men or holding back the sun like He did for Joshua, God still REDEEMS time!

Whether asking you to build a boat or gathering an army as for Noah and Gideon, God still is able to do and bring to pass according to His good pleasure! He asks you to do something you can’t and He willingly brings it to pass Himself!

Whether in citadels without economies or cities filled with traffic jam, He still saves!

Whether under a canvas of a tent like Jacob or under a cool ceiling with air conditioning, God still visits… even better for us, He can stay!

Whether to a nation in slavery for over 400 years, or to a whole world that needed freedom from sin, God still fulfills whatever He so promises!

Whether you feel like an orphan or you feel forgotten by those who adopted you, He’s still no stranger to fatherhood, and He won’t run away from that responsibility. He’ll give you a shoulder to cry on and kiss you goodnight when your eyes are captured by slumber.

Whether behind the walls of Babylon like Daniel or beside wells like Jeremiah, God still gives visions. In these days, he told one of those guys that He’d poured out ALL His spirit not giving in rations like he did them!

Whether amidst a rock and a hard place like Job or all you have has been stolen by the devourer, still like Job, He still restores you giving you double what you lost!

Whether within golden temples clad with breathtaking excellence by Solomon, God still makes you a wonder unto men! An eternal excellence and a joy to behold, leaving men without spirit!

He stills gives seed and fills empty wombs with children. He still generous with his universe, giving you his kingdom is his good pleasure!

He’s still the same yesterday today and forevermore!
