God Has You On His Mind

Today I want to take you on an explore God took me on sometime ago! I look at many things in life, and God clearly shows how He had planned it years ago.

In January a talented young man named Talent was robbed of His phone. When He came to church, another rich man named Noah walked up to Him and said,

“I heard God tell me to give you this phone!”

I’ve seen Noah. His phones are high class tech. He’s been blest to work in the Executive offices! Another phone he’d have had. But I’m thinking in my mind, how God connected them, years earlier, not just for this day, but for a guarantee on such a day.

In 1967, my uncle was born. I don’t know where he went to school, I don’t know where he started to work. All I know is that his hardwork and God’s blessing led him to a beautiful house in whose walls I have a bedroom.

Now take a seat in God’s mind, imagine guiding the steps of my uncle, having the end in mind that decades later, I would be in his house for accommodation. Am not stating that this is the purpose he was born.

That’s selfish…!

But even if my uncle has never thought about it, one of the reasons he went through all that he went through is so that my life could be made easier. I now stay at his house as I commute to university. It cut a lot of costs!

Moses Mukisa is a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious man! He heads as lead pastor at Worship Harvest Ministries. A fearless Influencer and jovial father he is. And today I was in awe of some framed photos that hang in his office that looks over the breathtaking valley of Naalya.

One of the frames had a newspaper. His name had been listed as the 4th best student as per the UACE 1996 results. I do not know what his inner circle is, but I could confidently put him in mine.

You see time to time he has shared about his life. How he lost both his parents. And how it was tough growing up. God lifted him from the miry clay, and made him a King. He has spearheaded many things that I have been part of…

Just his acceptance to the call to start his church was enough. I look and realise that close to 40% of my friends are from this church that he obeyed to lead. I can’t imagine my life if he had refused to start it!

Let’s take another seat in God’s head. It’s like God was saying to him in the 90s,

“Come on, you can do it! There’s someone’s life that will fully depend on yours. You can make it.”

“…For Biggie to be Him, you’ll have to say yes to this!”

Note that by 1996 I hadn’t been born yet… Moses was doing his exams, and if he didn’t pass, he couldn’t have made it to the university, and if he hadn’t made it to the university, he wouldn’t have formed Come Alive, and if he hadn’t formed Come Alive… He wouldn’t have met friends to start up Worship Harvest, and if he hadn’t started up Worship Harvest… I just don’t know where I’d be…

Thank God this story version doesn’t exist!

But child, do you see… Do you see how God gives attention to detail? Do you see how God goes ahead of you! He levels mountains and fills valleys in your future through people! Only the ungrateful ones won’t be able to see God’s goodness in such reflections!

Sit down & reflect! Do you see which person led you to salvation, helped pay your fees, prayed for you when you were sick…hoised you when things fell apart… That was all God having foreseen that over 50 years before you were born!

Tonight Moses shared a video of how Bill Gates for years has fought to eradicate polio in the whole world. He actually became victorious! A child who doesn’t know him, will receive vaccination. The child will grow even if its tough times.

Aid might befall him or her, and this person could innovate the next big thing. He or she could become a great writer or lawyer or engineer…

If Bill Gates hadn’t been born, if he never started up Microsoft, and became so rich to fund the polio vaccination manufacture…that boy or girl could never have received the antidote and thus it’d have been a sad story!

But that’s not the true story… thank God!

Do you see, child? Do you see how important lives of some men are to you. God ensured that whoever made Google, went to school, studied whatever they did, made it and now work is easier for you because of google… That was God having you in mind!

Celebrate the lives of those you realize God placed ahead of your path. They teach you their mistakes so that you don’t do the same. They help to redeem your time…

God had me on His mind as He planned out Moses’ life. So He made it so good. Now I know most of what I know through his sermons, his talks, his jokes and books!

God’s mindful of you through others!

He places you on other’s minds…

But also, remember, that just as he had me in mind in the background of Moses’ life, He has placed others, million others again on (my) your mind.

Imagine… when I become so rich, and my wealth manifests…and I decide to get rid of all HIV by finding medical research…The whole world will be blest…

But remember… It all started because I went to school and was housed by my uncle. Remember I received relational & spiritual capital from Moses… Wherewhich they all were factors that led to my wealth increase to be able to finance the research.

Know, that a billion lives are counting on yours to make their lives better! Their success is dependant on your success! And for them to succeed, you have to do one thing;
