Up In Out

In Luke 6:12-19 we discover the full cycle of discipleship! Jesus spent time with God.(Up) Early in the morning he’d depart and Worship. From there he’d receive word and power to share with his disciples!(In)

Afterward, they’d both go out and impact the community; Healing the sick, raising the dead & showing God’s power across the earth (Out)

We also are also required to operate in the same cycle! Missing out on anyone of these stages of the triangle causes a breach, ineffectiveness and inefficiency!

Jesus’ joy was filled when those who belonged to the category of In & Out received the gospel and God’s love!

This week, I was feeling off. My joy was…but not full! I looked around and I realized I hadn’t spent some In time with my friends! After doing so, I felt much better…and when I reached Out, my joy was full!

From our In we receive knowledge from God that we have to share to the whole world! Knowledge is meant to flow like a river, for it’s living waters that fail not (Isa 58:11)

If we do not share whatever the knowledge says… Whether it tells us to love, or tells us to pray….we make the living waters of no effect!

In fact when we don’t, we reverse convert it to stagnant water instead, which is dead and doesn’t help those around you! So…? Spend time Up, Pour yourself In, and Interact with the Out.

You will not only be doing what I tell you, but you’ll be doing exactly what Jesus expects you to do! And if he did follow the same chart, then we all surely can’t do anything else!

Live out every corner of the triangle fully! Missing the order or some corners of it will make you miss your predestined mark!
