How I brought my phone back to life!

My phone was quite costly even if I got it off Jumia. This was in April! It’s perfect for me! Nice camera, 32GB, 3GB ROM, 28 Mega pixels…and more things that may not be the best but are four times better than my previous phone but are not a matter of concern now!

Time check; 2:16pm, Friday 19th July

I was booming music by it! I was listening to this brown skin girl from The Lion King; Gift Album. As I did, my phone was at 53% and then without a warning I heard a loud pop sound and it shut down!

The sound wasn’t good! I stopped whatever I was doing to check wassup. Eh! Chei! Chineke! My God!

MY PHONE REFUSED TO REBOOT!

The power button was useless nomatter the countless times I pressed it! I resorted to plugging it in to charge! There were no signs of life or response. That bolt that shows that a battery is charging never surfaced.

I switched off and on the socket. No sign!

Immediately, as a normal mind would do, I rushed off to wanderville… My thoughts! were running all over the place! ‘Last year, you bought a laptop in April and it was stolen in July. It’s a sequence now!’ ‘It’s gone! You over worked it!’ ‘You were playing non-gospel!’ ‘Does it have a waranty?’

I was losing it! I was over pressing the power button again & again incessantly! The phone never responded. It has an inbuilt battery, and a drawer with a key for the sim cards! So it can’t open!!!! The thought of taking it to a repairer was automatically disannuled!

Immediately…I reacted with my usual reflex—Praying in spiritual tongues! I prayed over my phone as I held it in both palms of my hands! I spoke to it like Jesus spoke to the fig tree for at that moment, I knew it deep down that it had just died!

‘NO—NO. I can’t lose you too!’ I prayed amidst the tongues. ‘This isn’t a sequence! With long life you have been satisfied! I dedicated you to God the day I bought you! You are not done at all preaching the gospel! I COMMAND life back into you right now in Jesus’ mighty name!

Death & life are in the power of my tongue, I choose to transfer life unto you! I have been given power to trample of snakes & scorpions & all the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt me! With that authority, I COMMAND you to come back among the living…Right now.

For whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou moved…and doesn’t doubt that He shall have that which he asks for in his heart, then He shall surely have whatever He asks for!’

Peace is one of the things you shouldn’t lose when trouble comes your way! I held onto it despite the multiple thoughts of disappointment. I left mmy phone there, went for shopping, refusing any negative thoughts in my mind!

I told myself it was done!

3pm nothing! 4pm no response! 5pm zap! The phone wasn’t responding to the charging nor the power-on button! I kept praying in tongues with faith imagining my phone coming back to life!

I called it alive when I could see it drowning past a sea of darkness sinking to rise no more. I didn’t care what’s its disease or malfunction was…I refused to pronounce it gone by my tongue!

At 6:01pm, I unplugged it seeing that the charger wasn’t helping and caressed it in my hands as my eyes closed and my tongue prayed more. I pressed the power button once, twice, thrice… (Saying ‘Come back to life. The same power that rose Jesus from the dead resides in me! You surely can’t refuse to respond to this pulse & breath of life’ )

I breathed over it! It was CRAZY! I put my mind altogether to it. And as I pressed for the umpteenth time…

I had a brief vibration.

I hadn’t been ready to stop. I opened one of my eyes narrowly… The screen was displaying the colorful word tecno…

I gave thanks!

Don’t pronounce anything dead yet!

You can undo death even when it’s happened! ( Read this to know more:https://biggiesbigblogs.wordpress.com/2019/07/21/consider-the-worst-scenarios ) Don’t call anything dead, just like the Shunnamite woman who sought Elisha but never at one time called her child dead in 2 Kings 4.

SPEAK LIFE!

Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

  2. Thank you so much for your quick response and answer which is also from the word. I have realised that there is unlimited power in speaking in tongues everyday, anytime, anywhere.Gosd is really your greatest reward.

  3. That has ever happened to me twice with my HTC phone and I believe that it’s surely a testing moment of one’s faith to the Almighty. #Miracles still exist #
