Consider the Worst Scenarios!

I lost my dad in 2009. It’s been 10 years, but it was until recently I took authority over fear! Time to time, the devil came to me saying… ‘Your mom is next!’

Ajajaja!

I would spend sleepless nights crying to God, asking Him to protect her! But asking God to protect my mother isn’t a promise. And God’s promises, are ye and Amen.

The first promises I landed on that secured comfort were;

With long life will I satisfy ‘her’, and shew ‘her’ my salvation & There shall no evil befall ‘her’, neither shall any plague come nigh ‘her’ dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over ‘her’ to keep ‘her’ in all ‘her’ ways. They shall bear ‘her’ up in [their] hands, lest ‘she’ dash ‘her’ foot against a stone. (Psalms 91:16, 10-12)

These provided security because God himself promised them! That seemed insufficient back then, and so for God to silence this prat’s threats, he took me to Matthew 10:8.

Alalala!

Jesus commanded his followers to RAISE THE DEAD! He’s given us the authority to… (Luke 10:19) So God told me ‘The next time that fool threatens your mom with death, tell him you can still bring her back to life!!!”

The devil stopped! He has never threatened me again with death of my mom! God’s voice provided assurance! And now I enjoy knowing she’s going to hold her grand children!

Has God promised you something? Do you want to be something? Do you have a dream? Don’t let the devil threaten you! Consider the worst case scenarios as well!

My sister is in A level. She repeated senior five this year! Last term she still came back with 3 points! She was crying, scared that she’d be told to repeat again! The devil was telling her she was going to repeat…

I told her, ‘Whether your grades are good or not, you’ll STILL become a great DOCTOR!’ Why? It’s because that’s her God given dream, and God will still bring it to pass. Yesterday when I went to see her, her academic points had tripled! The devil’s threat of making her repeat the class were vanquished!

Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I [am] with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee. God, here never said to Jeremiah ‘they’ll not fight you!’ He placed in the worst scenario and said ‘yes, they’ll fight you—But they won’t prevail!!’

Throw in the worst cases so that your mind can be at peace! You’ll soon find that there’s nothing to be afraid of! If the devil threatens to kill your child, tell him you can RAISE him or her back to life!

If he threatens them with cancer or ebola, the scripture still had Jesus commanding us & reminding us that we would heal the SICK! What he was doing was adding in the end of things…things men consider that once you’ve reached them, you’re dead! The worst scenarios…

Jesus tells you that you can UNDO death! You’re above it! You’re in Control! Even over bad situations, you’ll still WIN! Whatever worst case it is…God says you can undo it! Make the devil cease using fear of things over you!

O how I pray you’d move & walk & live with this mentality all the days of your life! Amen.
