Why You Need the First Death!

The title sounds spooky, but be thou not afraid nor dismayed. I wanted it to attract you first, but also, to enable you escape a disdainful life! In the book of Genesis, we find the story of Adam and Eve!

We discover how Adam was put in charge of the Garden of Eden and when he got Eve, life became better for him until the snake came in! So they ate of the fruit that God told them not to, and for that they were cursed!

Genesis 3:17-19 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: ” Cursed [is] the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat [of] it All the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you [are,] And to dust you shall return.”

‘Till you return to the ground’ represents death! In other words, God is saying to Adam, ‘You’ll have to sweat and toil for your food from the ground until you DIE!’

Ask yourself, what will happen to Adam when he dies! The curse siezes to be held upon him—right? It’s like a couple getting married. They say ‘until death does us apart!’

Fast forward to millennia later! Jesus–the second Adam arrives!

1 Corinthians 15:45 Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving Spirit [restoring the dead to life] 47-49 The first man [was] from out of earth, made of dust (earthly-minded); the second Man [is] the Lord from out of heaven.

Now those who are made of the dust are like him who was first made of the dust (earthly-minded); and as is [the Man] from heaven, so also [are those] who are of heaven (heavenly-minded). And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven.

At birth we all are like him who was first made of dust. To become among those who are of heaven, we need to get born again (John 3:7) …John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

When we believe on Him, we get born again! Life freezes! Time stops and you RESTART again once more from zero! You become a totally a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.(2 Corinthians 5:17)

He or she doesn’t become an improved version of the old self…No! It’s all gone! Which means death of your existence in the womb and life of your existence out the womb!

Romans 6:3-4 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

We died with Him and were resurrected still with Him! Remember the curse was
In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground (die)
But you died with Christ! Meaning the curse ‘s grace period EXPIRED! Haleluyah! What became of it?

Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, [ “Cursed] [is] [ everyone who hangs on a tree”])
Jesus became the curse that had been tagged on you! The curse to SWEAT AND TOIL for food. The curse to sweat and toil for money!

The only way you can acknowledge this truth (that it was tagged on him from you) is by first dying at the point where you become born again! Until then, this truth won’t be true or effective toward you!

God wants to share His vast wealth with you! This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t work hard! NO! It means you have to work smart! Praise God, you no longer have to sweat and toil to get food! If your father feeds the birds, you in fact are much more a priority to Him!(Matt 6:26)

What the nullification of this curse means is, things will come easy for you! The notion that you have to sweat no longer applies to you! In other words you no longer STRUGGLE to feed, you no longer struggle to earn, you no longer struggle to care for your family!

Like before the curse, you’re back into the state of abundance! This was the only way you’d be reinstated to your position of royalty, by the death! Now those under the curse will work for you (Isa 60:10-14) They’ll sweat and toil and still bring to you their wealths!

Why? It’s because you simply took on the invitation of the first death by accepting Christ!

You have his mind now, and you generate global ideas.(1 Cor 2:16) You have the power to create wealth in your hands (Deut 8:18) You bear the image of the Heavenly man, you are one from Heaven and in Heaven gold is just an arm’s stretch… There’s no toil nor sweat there!(1 Cor 15:49)

You are in super life abundance! All you got to do now is to invite more to experience this first death and escape the tyranny of the curse they were born with!

I have encountered men who have experienced the first death. None of the curses in Genesis 3 still apply to them. Paul was bitten by a serpent. The curse was it was to bruise us but he shook it off into a fire and nothing became of him!

I have met women who experience no pangs at birth. They died to the curse as its terms & conditions expired the moment they got born again! And personally I don’t sweat or go through loads of toils to make money! God made things easier!

Things are supposed to respond to us with a hand of abundance! Jesus had the picture of Heaven, more than what was in Eden. Fruit is never seasonal there. It’s always flourishing! When the fig tree failed to respond in the way He expected it to, he cursed it!

It expected him to sweat & toil to get a fruit from it, but it thought he was another normal man! It was supposed to bud fruit there and then! It was supposed to respond above the curse & give Jesus the fruit with ease! But it thought he was plain old Adam! It breathed its last immediately and kicked the bucket!

You see child, now that you’re on the other side, all nature is supposed to deliver to you without you sweating & toiling since you’ve been restored to the Heavenly standard! If any creation fails to adhere to your new nature which is of God (2 Cor 5:18), it’s subjected to death like the fig tree.

I’m sure the next tree in the area having seen the fig tree die quickly brought forth fruit, just in case Jesus decided to come to it next!

In conclusion;

Romans 6:7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. Sin is a curse. He who has died has been freed from the curse! And the curse consists of suffering, sweat and toil… You’ve been freed from all this! And if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed.
(John 8:36)
