Why Time is also First fruit!

The Bible doesn’t say Honor the Lord with your Money! It puts it in a huge box altogether saying honour Him with all your possessions! What do you possess? Your house is your possesssion. Your car, your hands, etc.

Your time is also your possession! When the bible says ‘and with the first fruit of all your increase…’ Whenever you wake up, that’s an increase, you’ve just lived an extra 8 hours that you spent asleep!

In other words, you’ve earned more time than before you went to bed! Honor God with it! Waking up, you’re guaranteed around 18 hours until the next midnight!

Give Him two hours of it! Open up your bible, let Him speak to you…

Don’t put Him at the end of the day! Why?

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit [be] holy, the lump [is] also [holy]: and if the root [be] holy, so [are] the branches.

If the first hours of your day are holy…spent with God…the rest of the lump (the rest of your day, the rest of your 12 hours become holy)… Because the first hours are the roots, the rest of the hours of your day are the branches that spring unto life from the FIRST hours that you spent with God!

They become sanctified! They are drowned in Great Peace, and if they have great peace, nothing however big will be able to offend you! (Psa 119:165) No Traffic jam, no food delivery delay, no employee, no employer shall offend you!

This can only happen if you don’t give your time to God as second fruit! Your day could have been contaminated already by the cares of the world which you could have avoided!

What are your first thoughts in the morning? They are your possessions! What are your first words in the morning? They are your possessions! Ensure you honour God with them! Think God’s love! Think a verse! Say ‘Praise the Lord!’

Giving God your time is only 50% of the honouring! Giving it to Him as Firstfruit is the other 50%! He wants it that way! So Honour Him 100% time-wise!
