These are The Mukisas, which means ‘blessings’. Ary & Mosze are wonderful global leaders who are greatly transforming Uganda!
Yesterday, I had a one on one with Ary. I was supposed to meet her, and I was already running late. Now, she’s created time for me, and I felt like I was ruining it!
My world was spinning! My body was reminding me how I hadn’t perfumed it. Gosh… I forgot my journal, it’s already 1:30pm. I’m 15 minutes late!
My bag feels heavy, generally unpleasant thoughts were running about in my head! ‘You forgot to apply Vaseline on me!’ My feet grimaced! Condemnation was having me!
I ran into the office. I find Ary finishing up her lunch and before I said anything she turns around and says with high VOLUME, ‘Hi Biggie, isn’t it a lovely bright day!’
My body froze! Every dark thought vanished! She didn’t say ‘You Are Late!!!’ And since she didn’t, her positivity neatrulized all my negativity!
I never at all confessed I’d been having a bad day! I rather replied ‘Indeed, it’s a lovely excellent day!’ To my amazement, power was availed!
Good vibes immediately clutched me tight! The meeting went on. The rest of my day turned! In the end I realized I hadn’t said anything positive concerning my day!
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words [are as] an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
It doesn’t say Pleasant thoughts are sweet to the soul! Even if your thoughts are not encouraging, SPEAK LIFE! The power is in your tongue! (Prov 18:21)
Even if my thoughts were all over the place, my soul never tasted sweetness until Ary said beautiful words! It’s not enough to only have positive thoughts, materialize those thoughts into words and speak them!
Speak them to yourself, speak them to your workmate, to your sibling….and whoever is in your vicinity! For when you speak LIFE, you create LIFE!
Wow. Am inspired
