Charm is Deceptive!

In Prov 31:30 it’s said that,

Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised! (Amp)

Many men have fallen in love with make up and many women have ended up getting married to nicely shaved beards and buff arms!

After the wedding, many ask the question, ‘Where’s the person I got married to?’ That’s after the wig detached, and the copper girl dissolved away!

God created all of us in his image but all of us have people that are so attractive to us! The reason for this blog is to teach you one thing;

Beauty should never be the top priority or characteristic with which you’d ever fall in love with somebody!

I have seen men in my walks of life, looking lasciviously at women with huge hips! You can see their lips drop and their eyes wishing…

Their very own kids could be playing along the highway whence huge trucks are transiting and could get run over while their fathers’ eyes are on fleeting features!

That scripture should not be used on only women! For then what shall women use as a measure for the men. Let’s take it that since women came from a man’s rib that that scripture applies to the rib owners too!

Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a MAN who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, he shall be praised!

I have seen charming men in suits use vulgar & foul language! I have seen charming men driving expensive cars hoot impatiently at the elderly crossing the road, I have seen charming men lead worship songs on big stages but feel, to talk to them, you have to carry a certaincountenance and standard…

I have seen handsome men get so pissed so quickly, I have seen handsome men without purpose, I have seen handsome men that just want the rich lady’s money, I have seen handsome men who are not certain where they’ll be in 5 years’ time!

I have seen very handsome men, with the ideal body…who drink themselves mad, and come back late having slept with another woman, and during the questioning by their wives, their wives and children get beaten!

And then you find beautiful daughters of God say, I want a handsome man! No darling, get to your knees and ask for an anointed man! The anointing oil is gold, and gold is wealth!

Don’t separate the adjective out…put it back into anointed! I haven’t seen an anointed man who’s not fair in countenance! They all become handsome whether you or they like it or not!!!

Sons; this applies to you as well! Anointing carries the whole package! At 100 years you and your wife could be wizened in the face, but ask yourself… Will the world have known you because you were a hawt couple or because you fed nations both with physical and spiritual food!

God also told me; That’s why I never reveal myself first in the Physical, because I don’t want men to just fall in love with me because of my beauty. When they begin to fall in love with who I am (that is by my word), then their eyes are opened to my beauty… Both in what I created and I…

Notice! God didn’t say He won’t reveal himself…He said He won’t reveal himself first…by beauty!

Check this out; He showed up from nowhere & told Abraham to follow him, it was scary!

When He appeared to Moses in a burning bush…It was scary! To Elijah it was a sweet small voice. He never showed up in beautiful attire and with blazing jewelry!

He never showed His beauty first! He wants us to fall in love with His voice first, His heart next with our eyes blindfolded. That’s why He comes in different forms as well. So that you won’t put him in a box, by saying, for example; I love God. He’s as light skinned as me! He’s beyond physical comprehension.

All we need to fall in love, is a voice that resounds with purpose!

So in conclusion; you might ask so what am I to do? As you pray and mind your Father’s business, discern hearts! Inner beauty is key! It is what is unseen but overflows onto the surface! That’s what you should look out for!

Fall in love with the heart FIRST—and what’s within shall reveal the beauty of that person! If out of a heart flows wickedness, RUN child, RUN!

But if it’s warmth, mysteries, compassion, PURPOSE… Stay for a little while & let The Holy Spirit play His part!

1 Peter 3:3-5 Let not yours be the [merely] external adorning (beauty) with [elaborate] interweaving and knotting of the hair, the wearing of jewelry, or changes of clothes; But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God. For it was thus that the pious women of old who hoped in God were [accustomed] to beautify themselves and were submissive to their husbands [adapting themselves to them as themselves secondary and dependent upon them].

Know what to do FIRST! To fall in love because of Beauty must never be FIRST!

Kisses…. (From God)
