You Are a Nation!

Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

When Christ commissioned us in Matthew 28 to go and make disciples of all nations, he meant making all nations follow him..and not just making disciples in all Nations!

What’s a nation? Imagine the United States of America or China or Uganda. Imagine any of those countries without people! They’ll cease to be called ‘Nations’ but desolated lands!

You are a nation because in one way or another, you contribute to the multiplication and filling of the earth! Look at Noah’s family! They were only 8 people left after the floods!

And now we are billions of us from them! Look at Abraham! He had one son who produced two…who went on to form most of early Asia…but still through Abraham’s descendant, Jesus, He has the highest number of great grand children ever recorded in all time, as every believer is known as His child for God called Him The father of believers!

Through discipleship, you as well father many nations! If you discipled a soul, who in turn became a top selling musician within a few years, He’ll have multiplied influence!

His or her concerts will draw in thousands, and that’s when the seed you sowed will have budded! This person, because of you will use his or her platform to spread the gospel and soon many shall come unto salvation because you took your time off and invested in a soul that now…draws nations!

That’s a tick for you, that’s a tick for God! And in a way, since you guided that person, you hold a pride of fathering someone who later harvested many! If you had not… That’d be a far different story!

And if 100000 people were touched then your great great ancestor, Abraham also wins for whatsoever promise He was given, it applies to you too..

If God said he’d be made a great nation, that means you too will be made a great nation!

What am I saying here? I’m beseeching you, to Invest in men! With whatever resources you have—Time, Money, Things, Knowledge… Invest them in men and women!
