OPEN UP

So recently I developed a sore pain in my mouth. I didn’t know what exactly was wrong with me! The pain was in my left side of the mouth beyond the molars!

It waxed worse everyday and I just kept.. rebuking it! I prayed on…and kept the issue inside! Faith never fails, I told myself! But my mysterious wound was killing me!

I shared it with someone—A friend called Fortune! And he told me to rinse my mouth with salt and warm water! I did, and my mouth felt much better!

While on a conference, abroad, an American owed me 10 dollars, but she hadn’t found an ATM to withdraw anything to pay me with! We were in Kenya and she seemed to be struggling so much to find Kenyan shillings to pay me!

She opened up to a friend, who had a Kenyan mobile account! I never had a Kenyan sim card, but we found someone with it, and also having cash in hand! The cash was sent to the person, I got the cash…and the issue was solved!

A friend held onto an issue, about having to acquire dual citizenship papers. It’s not clear, but the way I understood it was He was not a citizen of Uganda and yet part of His leadership program required him to travel to Kenya for a Leadership conference!

He needed to go on a visit, while he was already on a visit! And His VISA had expired, so he was in danger of exposing his expiry. He kept quiet! He needed an extra $400…But his issue was discovered 1 day before the day of the flight! He said He had not wanted to explain his long story…

He missed the entire conference in the long run.. but what if he’d opened up about this issue two weeks earlier, am sure something could’ve been done!

Open up! Your friends have good advice! Easier ways! People around you have the help you need! Talk about it!People around you could have the connections you need!

Just now I talked about my gum pain! It wasn’t a wound! I have just been told…I have a wisdom tooth growing…So the thought that I had a terrible mouth infection ceased….and now I’m relieved! I thought we all stop growing teeth, but apparently we still do!

I was about to spend a lot of cash on something that was a knowledge shortage issue!
