Have you ever blamed yourself for the state of your parents? Or something vile...? In the Bible, we see Jacob's last born Benjamin, who as his mother gave birth to him, passed away. Genesis 35:17-18 Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, "Do not fear; … Continue reading Son of My Right Hand
The prophetic is really a funny realm and office. You literally have to see it and recognize it. It comes in all forms; God can prophesy through a joke, a book, an advert, a song, someone’s whatsapp status, a cloth label, a billboard sign and possibly anything. A close friend of mine has a one-year-old … Continue reading Shallow but Deep
The lions and Daniel; Remember when Daniel was found praying yet a law had been passed that no one would pray to any other god, save the King Darius. Daniel considered this utter nonsense. He prayed to God at a window and was found. "To the lions." Was the decree of punishment. But shockingly, the … Continue reading Covenant with the Beasts
Allow me share a story today, but don't think I'm proud—no. So, like we all need to, I am a faithful tither. It is a sign to affirm the blessing that we are. Abraham tithed because he was blessed. He didn't tithe to get blessed. In this continuity, I was in debt. And so I … Continue reading Tit for Tat
From the very beginning, we see the first temptation as the serpent asking Eve, "Did God really say...?" What I see here is a battle between God's Word and self will. Eve could have stuck to what God said and walked away...but the voice of the serpent wasn't just audible, but influential as well. You … Continue reading Imposed Temptations
Happiness is what many pleasures bring about. But happiness is dependent on the environment. That therefore makes it temporary or variable. Joy on the other hand, is a constant. But only God can give it. It's a function of being and not doing. As long as one is one with God, a third of them … Continue reading A Flaw in Pleasures

I have been reading of the Welsh revivalist Evan Roberts—one of God's Generals, born 1878. I'd like to share a bit of what he exhibited in his life towards his family. For those who don't know about the Welsh Revival, it was so immense that it swept the whole of Wales. Men repented from profane … Continue reading Honor thy Father & Mother…
