Not every scripture written is truth! It being in the Bible doesn’t qualify it to be applied in your situation. Job’s quoting ‘God gives and takes away’ shouldn’t be your same quote for now we know it is the thief that steals and kills. You must know when to apply what and where!

Balaam, His Donkey & Jesus
Recently, I saw Jesus again in the Old Testament. For those who find it odd, it is quite easy to — you just need to notice patterns that appear again in the New Testament. For example; Jonah’s being swallowed by a fish. The first time I read it, I was amazed when my eyes came … Continue reading Balaam, His Donkey & Jesus
Positioning III
Ecclesiastes 10:7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. From our theme scripture, we can see two types of people. We also see two types of transportation; or expectations of how each group of people should move. But we see the modes swapped, just like Jacob did over … Continue reading Positioning III
Positioning
Mordecai's position led to his hearing of the traitors' plots, which led to his honoring. If you are meant to be at the gate, but are inconsistent, you might not be present when the traitors come to plot. For us to fulfill our purposes, we must be found at specific positions that will play great roles in fulfilling our destinies.
Light in Light
Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has said of himself that “In my light, other men have seen light.” This finds its source from the book of Psalms, chapter 36, verse 9. He meant that in the receiving of heavenly lyrics, many have received healing and breakthroughs, just through his songs. As the psalmist testified of us seeing because … Continue reading Light in Light
Jacob vs. Israel
Just like God sends His word to heal us, He sends His word to light up our destinies and callings. He sent a word to Jacob, but He was churning out Israel (A NATION). Without an encounter with the sent word, the Israel in you will not surface! If you don’t heed to it, the nation will not manifest!
Scripture & Ideology
If the word of God has never questioned your decisions, or rarely does so, you must question your devotion to Him! If scripture is challenging your thought process, then it is true the mind of Christ is forming (or formed) in your intellect.
Path Of Life
Psalms 16:11a You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; Are you worried about who you will get married to? He will show you the path of life! He’ll let you know who! Are you worried about what career opportunity to pursue? He will show you the path … Continue reading Path Of Life
Increase & Comfort
Thou shalt increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side. Psalm 71:21 KJV After my graduation last Thursday, the question came: now what? Within me, anxiety attempted to arise. Psalm 71:21 had been resurfacing time to time every week; and so it did again. This time God took me below its surface. He said, … Continue reading Increase & Comfort
Ask Questions …
“Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.” Luke 2:46-47 This text is picked for reference, for the case I’m bringing to … Continue reading Ask Questions …
The Daniel 6 Censures
The devil no longer has anything of the world against you. But perhaps he can find fault with you in Zion. He will manipulate the word of God against you! Or make you manipulate it to suit your sin.
At the Gates of Hell: a Testimony
It was Census day, on the night of May 10th, when my mother's younger sister almost gave up the ghost.Earlier that week, one of my prayer partner had suggested we had an overnight that Friday. I had not felt a go-ahead from God though. But I didn't want to be so rude. Somehow, God confirmed … Continue reading At the Gates of Hell: a Testimony
Hegai
In the book of Esther, we see many virgins brought in and groomed exorbitantly and delicately with the end that one would become Queen to the most powerful king then: Artaxerxes, following Vashti's being striped of the very same office. The virgins were presented to household managers called chamberlains — specifically Hegai, I guess for … Continue reading Hegai
Men in Women’s Shoes
I wanted to entitle this 'Men, Feminism & Faith'. I rarely struggle with what to baptize these articles as name, but I do hope God was close to nailing the point He wanted to lead home with this selected title as you'll see. I loathed being 'a man'! Why I loathed being a man was … Continue reading Men in Women’s Shoes
Your Kind of Help
Psalms 121:1-2 I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help [comes] from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. I was meditating on this and I realized something; That my (your) help comes from God. The maker of heaven and earth. Your help won't come from your … Continue reading Your Kind of Help
