Treasures of Darkness 3

Isaiah‬ ‭45‬:‭3‬ I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, I’m the God of Israel.

On December 16th, as I tarried in prayer, light came unto me regarding Isaiah 45:3. God promised to give us — to give you, the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places.

How can we tell there is some sort of treasure in the dark, unless a light once shone during its history … or shone sooner to expose what’s been concealed all along!

How can we tell something was hidden? Prolly because there was no light to help us see it earlier. That — or, the beholder is blind completely.

The past time I talked about this topic, I gave examples of treasures in darkness and hidden riches. Today, I display how they are given! — and you’ll find that I have already mentioned the how.

Light in form of revelation, is how God has given us these things!

Light is what lifted Joseph. It is what lifted Daniel. When Pharaoh received an unsettling dream of darkness, Joseph bore its treasure: its interpretation! Daniel displayed the riches of his secret place, by unravelling all the king’s puzzles.

The Bible says the entrance of His word gives light. (Psalm 119:130) — Not just His word existing! It has to enter … To enter your heart! For it is seed! And your heart — the ground. You must be utterly receptive to it.

But 1 Peter 1:23 says you have been born again of this word — the incorruptible seed.

If you have, then the word is your nature. If it is your nature, then your entry as well (to others’ hearts through their ears and their reception) should give some sort of light!

After all, did Jesus not say you are the light of the world!? You issue light at all moments by default. But to the degree with which we let His word in, is the degree with which we will emit light. And the degree of treasures in darkness you will find or hidden riches of secret places you will retrieve, will be determined by the degree of light that’s flooded your eyes. (Eph 1:18 NLT)

In all this, we must remember that His word is spirit. So praying in the Spirit catalyzes the luminosity we can draw from His word as we read it. I shed more light on this in the previous blog.

And treasures should not be limited to the literal meaning of treasure: gold, silver or precious jewels. Nor should ‘the hidden riches.’ As portrayed earlier, they could be solutions to problems, as Daniel and Joseph provided. And those solutions (coming out of you) will establish you for life, just like Joseph was by the Pharaoh’s command; being promoted second to Him, receiving properties and a wife, and the best of the land of Egypt in Goshen for his entire family (father and siblings and their wives and their children and their flocks and their servants) …

The solution Joseph gave bought favor for him and his family for four centuries! That’s to what extent the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places He’s giving you can advantage you.

O that more word may come your way!

O that more light may come your way!

O that more eyes may come your way!

In Jesus’ mighty name.
