My friend had posted this on her WhatsApp status. As I read it, I saw my dreams dimming, fainting, becoming dull, becoming ‘impossible.’
IMMEDIATELY, the word within my Spirit roared, saying, ‘I KNOW WHO I HAVE BELIEVED! I AM PERSUADED THAT HE IS ABLE TO KEEP THAT WHICH I HAVE COMMITTED!’ (2 Tim 1:12)
I understand the aspect of respecting all jobs and professionals. But the line ‘we all had big dreams but life happened’ triggered me. Many christians tolerate such small statements. They seem insignificant, but they choke the seeds of greatness planted in our hearts. They are other forms of thorns from the parable of the seed and the sower.
They sow in us unbelief; making us forget whom we have believed! He parted the red sea! He made water come out of the flinty rock! He made a fish issue a silver coin from its mouth. He walked on water! He raised the dead! He Himself defied death! He did IMPOSSIBLE THINGS!
We must roar back to the world’s wisdom and maxims. That with men it might look impossible but with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. So whether life happens or not — my dreams are possible! I have not believed a small God! He is even able to do exceedingly abundantly way above and farther what I have imagined or thought or dreamt!
Continue BELIEVING child of God! And guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life! These are the scenarios that make us create Ishmaels, when Isaac is on the way. Hebrews 10:23 tells us to hold fast the confession (or profession) of our faith. We have to hold fast onto the visions God showed us from our future!
We have to hold fast onto His word of prophecy over us; for He is not man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent!
Let Him be true, and everything else a lie. He promised in Ezekiel 12 that there shall no more be any vain vision within the house of Israel. He says, I am the Lord, and that which I speak shall come to pass! Let your faith marry this word; for without it — it is impossible to please Him.
No wonder the Bible tells us to know Him and His only son. If you know Him more and more every day of your life, you’ll find that it becomes harder and harder not to believe! For how can you unsee what you’ve seen! How can you unhear what you’ve heard?
And even yet, this faith that helps you to believe, comes by hearing and hearing of His word! And the word was (and is) God!
So I charge you to keep believing Him! And to guard your heart! Your dreams will come to pass. Do not give in! Understand whom you have believed!

Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Joshua 21:45 Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. ALL CAME TO PASS!
