Rewards for Faithfulness

Reading the parable of the talemts again, I noticed the recompense for the faithful servants.

Let us read what happened;

So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’ (Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭20‬-‭21‬)

Firstly, this servant was given more (verse 28) from he who was unfaithful to increase what he had been given. (Addition)

Secondly, the servant was set over much (Promotion), and He entered the joy of His Lord. The Bible also defines the joy of the Lord being your strength (Neh 8:10); meaning capacity to grow and handle the more that was given. (Expansion)

As you multiply whatever you were given through diligence … expect addition, promotion and expansion as default rewards.
