Light in Light

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has said of himself that “In my light, other men have seen light.” This finds its source from the book of Psalms, chapter 36, verse 9. He meant that in the receiving of heavenly lyrics, many have received healing and breakthroughs, just through his songs.

As the psalmist testified of us seeing because of the sun’s light indirectly, we as well are able to cause others to see by the light we shine (Matthew 5:16);

During a sermon in 2023, I received revelation of the miracle I needed. The preacher (Apostle Grace Lubega) preached about God’s word being the sure word of prophecy basing off 2 Peter 1:19. Immediately, I received light to unlock my miracle.

If His word is sure, and I am born of it (1 Peter 1:23), that means it shall accomplish all that it is sent to do. Verily, it shall not return void. So I decreed, that the kind of  iPhone that I desired would locate me. I gave thanks, acted like I had received it and moved on with life.

Eleven months later, it materialized. I testified on this platform. And many read the testimony.

A certain man called Joseph read my testimony towards April’s end. He rejoiced with me. Four months and a week later, he came saying “I have a testimony to tell…”

“Pray tell.” I encouraged.

His testimony had been fueled by my testimony;

He had almost given up on believing for the latest Samsung Fold. But my testimony stirred him up. He didn’t share details. But you can see that my light, played a huge role in the receiving of his miracle.

You must know that your winning will lead to the winning of another. Your faith and encouragement will edify another’s faith and encouragement.

So do not despise your testimony. It could be what someone else needs to make to the other end of their tunnel. Do not despise any form that your revelation takes. It could be someone’s key card to their next level.

On the other hand, if we circle back to the primary ground of the theme scripture, you must remember that the entrance of His word brings light. It will be hard for you to give any light if you have none. And we’ve just discovered the fuel to that light.

Remember, that however wide your eyes open, if there’s no light to aid them at about 3am, be rest assured that you will see nothing! You always need the bulb on to help you see around.

Without that light, and you attempt to guide someone else on this life journey, you will be categorized as Jesus elucidated ‘the blind leading the blind.’

The other scenario could be the light flooding around you, and yet you are blind. That requires a miracle to have the scales fall off you like they did when Saul was prayed for by Ananias. In some way, in Ananias’ light (ability to see), did Saul gain back his light.

And since then, many of us have received great revelations and understanding of our Lord from Paul’s letters to the various bodies of the church.

May God use you in the same way; and use your story to open blind eyes, and distribute light to many, until they are translated from the kingdom of darkness, to His.
