In the Volume of the Book —

Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭7‬ Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’

But what is His will? I believe it is etched down in His word!

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we lend to many, many nations and we do not borrow! We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us, that we have received power to get wealth that we may establish God’s covenant which He swore to our fathers.

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we and our children are for signs and wonders in the earth! We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we are a force to reckon with!

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we go through troops and we scale or leap over walls! We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that by God we do valiantly, and that no one else but He, teaches us to profit!

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that ten men out of all the languages of the earth hold our skirt saying they must go with us, for they have heard that the Lord is with us! We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we have been given authority to trample over snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall harm us!

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we go teaching all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost and making disciples of them. We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that we shine as bright as the stars of the firmament, for we win souls and are wise.

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us, and has anointed us to preach the good news to the poor; and has sent us to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to the bound.

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that one of us shall chase a thousand and two — ten thousand! We come in the volume of the Book, where it is written of us that God teaches us to war; whether it be by singing praises, or reducing our numbers, it is He we lean on, and trust — and not our own understanding or chariots!

We come in the volume of the Book, where it is commanded of us, to; heal the sick, and raise the dead and cast out demons! These are the signs that follow us!

Some of these are generic; and there could be some that are specific to you as an individual. I pray, that as you next sit in His word, that God will reveal that particular will for your life to you! May the word open and reveal itself to you today! That your mandate or purpose may be more neatly defined; for His glory! Amen and Amen.
