II Samuel 6:11-12 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household. Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness.
I pray for you; that in the manner of Obed-Edom, that the signs that you are in covenant with God show! May His blessing be seen on all you do, on all that belongs to you, and all that stay with you!
Enough with the explaining! Ezekiel 8:23 comes alive for you! Ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of you by the hem of your robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have HEARD that God is with you
Some see it, and tell it abroad! Then those who hear it, come running to partake of it…
It is evident that you are a custodian of His presence! You prosper, continue prospering until you become very prosperous like Isaac! Kings and nations are afraid of your enlargement! They see a threat to the economy, but it is only the fulfillment of prophecy: that you lend to many nations!
Uzzah earlier in the text touched the ark, as the oxen that carried its cart slipped. He died for that! He came from the tribe of Benjamin! Obed-Edom however, I am certain must have touched it and died not!
He hailed from the tribe of Levi, which God named His; which God ordained the line from which priests come.
By Jesus, we were made kings and priests unto God! (Rev 1:5-6) Because of that we are not maimed by His ark! When David understood that, he wore an Ephod, even though he wasn’t a Levite! He was a shadow of the thing to come: a king and priest. He represented Jesus. And us in Jesus were well represented by Him!
O blessed art thou who God has caused to come to Him.
Blessed are you, who touch the ark and do not succumb — who dwell in the very midst of the cherubim with Him; because of Jesus’ reconciliation of you to Him! Now you are one with Him! (1 Cor 6:17) The blessing is here! The blessing is touched! It is tangible and not theoretical!
They run! They run to hold you! ‘Take us with you, for we have seen that God is with you!’
May the covenant of wealth He brought you into, provoke and attract treasures and resources from every direction: from the North and the South and the East and the West, and from kings and from nations that you may establish His covenant! You expand to the right and to the left to accommodate all this!
Like Obed-Edom, all around you see it! And are amazed! And they fear Him! And they turn in repentance of God Almighty!
The Bible says they looked on Him, and they were radiant. Their faces were not ashamed. (Ps 34:5) Another version says ‘your faces will glisten with glory.’ This proves the evidence I’m talking about!
