Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. Isaiah 54:4
Still following my graduation, the commonplace thought passed by my mind: what if you get no job?
Now, I have been earning all these years by my art. This thought regarded my degree in architecture.
Like the Lord heard it, He led me to the scripture above. He says you would not be ashamed. Neither be disgraced.
None shall say you studied and didn’t get employed! God Himself has prophesied over your future and eroded the possibility of such shame.
None shall say you got married and are now struggling to provide for your family! He increases your greatness! He has blessed you with marriage! He made you rich! And no sorrow shall be added to that! You will not be ashamed! Your house speeds up! Your car speeds up!
He promised Sarah a child! Did He not deliver! It is those that mocked her afterwards who were put to shame! They thought they’d have the last laugh!
You will not be disgraced having started that business! He shall give you visibility and supply all your needs!
Do not fear to step out the boat O Peter! You will walk on water! You will not be disgraced! Okay you have sunk! But Jesus will pull you out the water and together you’ll walk back! Hallelujah!
O Joseph, the man who forgot you in the prison will now work under you! God won’t let you be put to loss! He gives you double HONOR for your shame! Lift your head high, O ye crown of glory in His hands!
O Mary, those that laughed that you carried a child of God will come and kowtow, in repentance for having called you a liar!
O Moses, don’t think the red sea is your dead end! Your staff will make a way through, and the Egyptians who thought had you — who thought you’d be ashamed for having left — will have a taste of their own medicine!
And if you were scorned and laughed at, He raises you up far above all principalities, to a degree that you’ll forget your shame. O He satisfies your mouth with good things! O open your mouth wide and let Him satiate you with the dew of Hermon, and the bread of Heaven, and the wine of Gethsemane!
You will not be ashamed!
You will not be disgraced!
You will not be put to shame!
God promised!
And He is not a man that He should lie!
You sought Him diligently and He said He is a rewarder of such as those!
May you receive your reward! May it be seen publicly! May your profiting be seen by all! To His glory! Hallelujah!
Shame is not my end, 🙌🙌
