It threatened to rain today! O the clouds were dark and heavy. However those that had to go to work in our household never took it seriously! It got darker and darker!
Still, no drop fell.
My aunt took her time. The weather dragged on for more minutes.
Suddenly, drops began to fall. My aunt began to panic!
“I better dash before it hinders me from reaching work.”
But, it’s been warning you for the last hour!
I spoke in my head.
When she fled, the clouds eventually drifted away. What I felt in my spirit, was how many times these clouds have spoken of God’s judgement! How it comes, and warns, and waits!
Sadly many of us are familiar with clouds threatening, and the sun showing up the next second. But there are times, the rain will come in the night without warning!
Other times the clouds will pass, like the angel of death over the Israelite houses that bore blood on their posts. Other days, it will get dark! And immediately rain heavily!
May we not take the warnings of rain to come lightly. Like my aunt, let us not wait for it to fall, then we start moving to where we are supposed to be. For when the ark’s door is shut; it will be too late.
So let’s proclaim the floods’ coming. It might be dry season, but rain is coming. Let us labor each in our lot, bringing in the people to a Haven, before God’s wrath comes and rains without stopping.

The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And the expanse [of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands. [Rom 1:20, 21] Day after day pours forth speech, And night after night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there [spoken] words [from the stars]; Their voice is not heard. Yet their voice [in quiet evidence] has gone out through all the earth, Their words to the end of the world. Psalms 19:1-4 AMP
