I am here to testify of God’s goodness this past week. After hectic weeks of trials concerning my graduation project, God brought me forth into a large place!
In September’s second week, I presented my project with mirror glass as the finishing on the facade. Though it was appealing to the eye architectural-wise, on a larger scale, that glass would reflect sun beams, causing glare or accidents towards passers by — making it environmentally hazardous.
That was the main comment from the panelists. My supervisor wasn’t around, but when I showed him the model, he seconded the comment. He suggested I redid the facade with solar panels as finishing; harnessing solar energy from the sun. That isn’t as harzadous as the former.
I thought I’d only do it in my paper work, but that night, I dreamt myself redoing the model facade as well. Upon waking, I knew God was communicating a hack that could provoke mercy and favor from my supervisor as he was to give the final mark.
When I was worried about funds, the service provider for materials offered me most of the things free as a birthday offer (October 6). That was God!
On 7th, I finished redoing the model.
On 15th, I was running late with the hardcover binding of my report. I had been getting malaria sequentially, delaying me incessantly. On Tuesdays my supervisor is out of the university by half to midday. It was that time, and I just asked God’s mercy to fight for me — to go ahead of me.
I found him delayed by another staff member. He gave me the I’m-a-morning-person lecture and wondered why I don’t early bird. As he marked that out as a sign of laziness, I kept quiet — repentant, guilty, but with work.
He loves models! And so, his eyes beamed at the solar panels and tension cables he had asked to see! (Remember the dream? It was an instruction) Shockingly, he didn’t take any peek at the paper work. His emphasis was on the model. Now, imagine I hadn’t responded to the instruction in the dream.

“Much much better!” He concluded. He then wrote a letter to the head of department, saying I had done the recommended corrections and that he was satisfied with the current status. He then signed off.
The graduation list had been released earlier with a section with those who were clear to go, and another of us: us with pending issues. This meant I was switching sections! Glory to God!
Testimony two came as a late birthday gift. After withdrawing 5/8 of my savings, to acquire an iPhone (13) earlier in the year; and later some cash to help with majorly the school project, I asked God to help me restore the cash I had spent.
Now, the 5 star franchise restaurant (Cafe Javas) in Uganda with some branches in Kenya, advertised its annual Independence challenge. Across its social media platforms, it posts something that engages audiences, having a prize attached. Every year, they give out the latest iPhone.
My cousin in-love, sent me this year’s post. And they were giving the iPhone 16 which ranges from 4 million to 6 or 8 Ugandan Shillings, since it’s the latest. Once I saw the post, like the dream from testimony one, I had a vision of what to do exactly.
Trust and obey …
I went on to do what God had impressed on my heart. I cut wood mechanically, in the shape of Uganda, and painted the flag in strips. The challenge demanded that creatively, we make the Ugandan flag using any tool or material we work with: paint, food, fabric — anything.

I posted the video of the process on Instagram and Tiktok on 8th, the deadline, since Independence Day was 9th. I kept on checking to see if the winner had been announced on 10th onwards. But God told me, ‘As always, someone will deliver the news to you! Stop checking!’
Last Wednesday, after a nap, and going on whatsapp, I saw a line saying congratulations! My heart skipped beats!
O M G!

When I ran to the online streets, there were 5 winners. 2 by way of Instagram, 1 Facebook, 1 from X, and 1 from TikTok. I was Tiktok’s winner! To the glory of God!
But talking about trusting and obeying; you must know that I was one of the chaps last year who loathed TikTok. I thought I was too old for it. I had an account, but I never peeped that direction. In April, God asked me to start preaching there seriously and intentionally.
Little did I know that He was aligning the pathway for my next miracle months ahead! I only imagine if I refused to heed. I would have missed out! In the repeated posting of a minute-long videos, I easily was inclined to post the challenge video there as well. And valoir! Prayers were answered!

My encouragement to you is; listen to His instruction, and do not ignore it. If He asks you to cast your nets again — Peter, even if you toiled all night, just do it. For your nets will bring in a draught — draughts that will break your nets!
Every year I kept on trying to win the challenge for that year by Javas; I’d have brushed off this year’s on the grounds that I had never won yet. But God was preparing something much more grand!
Do not give up! And may His grace to obey avail when He instructs you, even when you don’t see in hindsight.
congratulations on the iPhone 😀…more wins…trust and obey even in the times when it seems it won’t workout…….sometimes we thinking for God😆
