Uhm…
So, the pastor ‘eats’ your money; and even preaches doom if you haven’t given tithes! Yes?
You want to investigate where the money that you give goes — yeah?
Well … that’s none of your business dear curious reader. None of your business I say! Yours is to be faithful!
The Bible says when you give tithe here, in Heaven God receives it! That’s enough. Give, and trust that He’s received. The unfaithfulness of the receiver on earth is God’s judgement to pursue … And not yours to murmur about.
If you’re a teacher, your part is to teach. And avail yourself and make the student understand. But if the student is never in class, who’s to blame when he or she fails to excel.
It won’t be you. Unless if you too were always absent.
So, do your part and refuse to worry unnecessarily. Do not carry cares that are not meant to be carried by you. God never said we should demand a display of faithfulness or accountability of the priests! But He asked you to bring his tithes to His house! That He may open up the windows of Heaven and showers of blessings over you (Mal 3:10)
Give your offering, give your tithe, give your first fruit without second thoughts. In Heaven, God has received it! Your reward will be independent of how the earthly receiver dealt or reacted with it … but it will be dependent of your full obedience to God’s request of you in His word!
