As July dawned, I prayed with family in a night watch. Our eldest sister led and she said, “Lord you asked the one leper where the other nine were. We are the ones who have come to give thanks.” Reference is in Luke 17:12-19
Once in a while, do not ask for anything in prayer. Just thank God for all the answered prayers.
I’ve found that it is humbling. And it reminds us that if He did what we are thanking Him for, He’ll surely do it again. I’ve found that giving thanks is an antidote to anxiety, and complaining as well.
The mere fact that only one out of ten returned, indicates that the ratio of those who will return to God to give thanks is usually lesser compared to those that will not. Human default setting is to murmur yes, but O that you may be the ONE whose praises resound more than petitions.

Biggie😭😭😭this blog should be longer
