Holiness is still Requirement

At 3:02 this morning, the word of the Lord came to me saying ‘Holiness is still Requirement! Tell my children.’

‘Telling the children’ I am now right now.

We have thrown the Spirit of the sovereign God to the back seat:

‘I have convicted you of your perverse tongue! But you still refuse to utter words of grace. I have convicted you of your indecent dressing. But you still carry on dressing like the world. Shall you continue to abide in sin because my grace is sufficient?’

Yes, Jesus didn’t die that we may count ourselves holy by our actions, but rather, that He might restore holiness; that the actions that follow must be a result of what we believe: Not actions to define our holiness — but holiness to define our actions. I don’t expect you to dress up decently that you might be holy! No! But that you are holy and so you should dress up decently!

At some point, dear Gomer, you must understand that, I will never stop coming as Hosea to buy you off the whore auction. It has happened once, twice, thrice! And my goodness should lead you to repentance — but you act like it cannot. My mercy endures forever yes! But why act like I can’t defeat the giants in the promised land, yet you saw me split the sea? You act like I can’t feed you, yet manna came, and your shoes never waxed old in the desert!

I’ve been calling you to holiness, but you’ve been stubborn O Israel. I’ve availed power to help you be holy, but you are not making the effort! Should you continue to sin because my grace is sufficient? Before you cussed, I tried to muzzle your mouth! But you unmuzzled yourself and let evil speech out using the same tongue you use to praise me! And I am grieved! I am.

You are my temple! A rugged house I am trying to renovate and make attractive. You have to look like the God of all that is seen resides in you! Holiness is still requirement. Without it you cannot see God (Heb 12:14). My word didn’t say you would not make it to Heaven! But you will not see my power in your life! And so you’ll wonder why your life seems unfruitful in many areas. It’s because you think holiness is no longer a requirement! You have short circuited my power!

But I am gentle and kind. Your life must shine and show my glory. Not only must you see me, but men must — through you! So come; let’s reason together. Mature! Come up hither. Your dressing must reflect holiness. Your speech must reflect holiness. You know well the things I’ve been calling you to improve on. Yes, you know my voice. If you hear it, do not harden your heart!

Holiness is still requirement! If you hear my voice, telling you to go to the left or to the right, do not harden your heart!’
