Last Sunday evening at a get-together, I was so excited to show one of my friends the new iPhone I’d received by faith. I’d always been borrowing his to take photos on occasions, and he’d been always kind to give it.
Now you must understand that God is a God of all flesh, and He can use anyone, or communicate through anyone — or donkey — that He pleases.
Watch keenly;
I told that friend, “I have arrived,” as I pulled out the common idol.
He didn’t bother touching it. He instead responded, “But you’ve been here!”
Ah!
Ahhh!
That wrecked me. It was clearly God; for this colleague — I can’t say — is that spiritual. And He (God) seemed to say, once you’ve imagined yourself there, it’s not news when reality catches up. He called Abraham a father long before He had Isaac, and so when Isaac arrived, we might as well say “Isaac had already been here.”
Andrew Wommack testifies of how He stalled at a million dollar project of his Bible College building. He said he used to visit the site and imagine the actual structure completed. Where he saw a door, he opened it — acted out pulling air and shutting it behind him. Where he saw a wall, he didn’t walk through. He respected its hindrance and went around it.
He did this for a while and soon his faith produced results. His partners sent in cash more than the amount needed and the project picked up to completion within six months (if I recall)! When the actual building got completed, he wasn’t so excited.
“It was in my past.” He says.
I want to encourage you to GO THERE. Go to your house! Go to your marriage! Go to your child! Go to your global business! Go to your car! Go there by the power of your imagination. The Bible says as a man thinks so is he (or she). If you think poverty, then you are poor! I used to think: ‘I already have that iPhone’ — and so ‘I was!’
But beyond material needs, think yourself (and see) you laying hands on the sick and them getting healed — or you speaking and tumors disappearing! Think yourself lending to nations and swimming in the power that gets you wealth … and you will — indeed — be there!
If you dream to be a musician, see yourself on that stage, behind the camera — arenas full. Beyond that, you can see yourself feature the big artists in the game.
Intesify your imagination as well.
Today if you see or think yourself getting married, when that level sinks in, upgrade! Start seeing you and your spouse celebrating 10 years! See yourself celebrating 30 — 50 years of marriage! See your children and their children.
By the time your wedding day comes, it’ll be way long in your past!
And the earth will say, “you’ve been here!”
