Windows of Heaven

I’m writing this based in a town called Naalya, a part of the Kampala Greater Metropolitan Area in Uganda. For the past month or so, it’s been raining heavily, and recently, it’s been shocking many, by falling as many times as thrice a day: from about 3am to 7am, then at around midday, then at about 6pm till 9 or later. On the 21st of this month, the words ‘windows of heaven’ resounded loudly in my spirit. I decided to recall what these mean.

They first appeared in Genesis, during Noah’s time; letting out a lot of rain. The other time, they are affiliated to was in 2 Kings 7, when a dire famine had hit Samaria, and a royal officer would not believe that the famine would end as the prophet had declared. He said, and I paraphrase, “…even if the windows in heaven would open, could such a thing happen?” and by the thing, he meant the ending of the famine.

But it did happen! An abundance swept back, quickly restoring the economy. It had been so bad such that no trade was being carried out in or outside the city (since the Assyrians had besieged it) and a few sentences afore show women having agreed to eat each other’s son. They ate one boy, and when it was time for the other to die, the mother hid him away.

Yes, it had become that bad!

The last time the windows of heaven appear is in Malachi 3, as they are a reward to whoever tithes, God promising that He’d open them up to pour a blessing so great that the recipient won’t have room enough to contain it all.

Now, the exegesis of the three events for me zeroed down to raining abundance and blessing (even if abundance is still the common denominator). However, prophetically, I was carried to the window where Daniel prayed at when he was spied on for not worshipping Nebuchadnezzar’s idol. In 2021, after tarrying in that ‘vision’ for long, I noticed that the window towards the city eventually transformed into a window of heaven: a portal, through which Daniel could access visions and dreams and their interpretations, after which he’d come back and dissolve the king’s doubts & solve enigmas.

Connecting all the dots; I conclude that, many saints are praying… and an abundance of portals, are opening up, where the spiritual and physical are going to mingle so much that it redefines the new reality. God’s spirit is being poured out unto all flesh; at least in this part where the incessant rains are the sign. And only the men on their knees will have the key to unlock or lock, the windows through which the abundances of power, and glory, and wisdom, and strength, and signs, and wonders, and miracles, and riches, and dominion, and honor, and what no eye has seen nor ear heard; can leap through and be ushered into both their individual worlds, and the world at large. Only those men!

So, don’t leave your position!

Stay at the window!

If you’re a son of Issachar, you’ll know verily that these are not the usual rains.

Psalms 145:14 The LORD upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down.

Psalms 19:1-4a The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
