I always marvel at Sarah’s miracle. She was like an old factory whose machinery had expired. She was like a mine whose furnaces had long forgotten the taste of inferno.
First of all, as statistics would have it, it’s said that women’s ovaries stop manufacturing ovum at a particular point in time. And the older one gets, the less opportunity for any hope of a miracle. Can you picture a factory becoming obsolete?
Sarah conceiving meant, the ovaries had to flourish one more time again after decades and decades. That’s an extraordinary resurrection!
It’s not everyday that such a thing happens!
In the same manner, on this day, I recall Jesus’ coming out the grave. But it is not He that raised Himself. It’s this person called the Holy Spirit: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you …
Now, the Holy Spirit is who we must give ourselves to. Before He descended on Jesus, no miracle was recorded of Him. Yes, He had challenged some priests in the temple at a tender age, but He hadn’t opened any blind eye.
No sooner had He come out of the wilderness, than the miraculous began to manifest! He makes the impossible possible. He’s the reason we celebrate resurrection!
And so I commend you to Him. He that materialised what God spoke. He that hovered over the waters to make what was said — to be. Grow closer to Him. Grow fonder of Him, and He’ll, firstly, like Sarah, make extraordinary resurrections in you, and then do the same through you, unto many, materialising as well what you speak!
He is key to all this magnificent power! For if we compared the two: enabling Jesus to heal and raising Him from the dead, what seems more difficult to do? — the latter right! But if the Holy Spirit did it, then every other miracle needed to be done becomes a piece of cake! Extraordinary and all! Impossible and all!
All you need to do is to only believe in Him!

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
