On 7th August 2022, I had a dream. I saw the devil in a boardroom. He was pacing about in panic, and he asked, “When did Saul become a shinning star?”
This caused me to wonder a lot when I woke up, but it made a lot of sense.
Daniel 12:3 says ‘Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.’
The symbolism of the Bible becomes real at some point. It all began when God told Abraham, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” (Genesis 15:5)
It’s no wonder that the wise men from the East came following the brightest star there was in the sky. And using their wisdom, they knew it belonged to the King (and not just any king)
With that evidence, and having Jesus as one of the descendants of Abraham, I am compelled to think that basing on my dream, all children of Abraham, even those by faith (the gentiles that believe Christ) have stars that represent them in the Heavens.
When the devil asked that question, he must have seen the star of Paul bright in the sky. He said “when did Saul become a shinning star?”
Pay attention to the fact that he was being called his old name! This teacher sis that the enemy isn’t happy with the new name, or with the fact that ‘the old is gone, behold all things are new.’ He wants to keep you in your past. However sinful it must have been.
Also notice that Paul was not just a star, but a shinning one! This means that perhaps we all are stars but only those that ‘lead many to righteousness’ have their light radiating brighter just like Daniel stated.
It’s odd! Being a star, and yet emitting no light! You know what that is? A black hole! Dead stars turn into black holes — dimensions that suck all light around them and eat up any sense of life or object that float passed them. Just like the once -a-star Lucifer!
Daniel also mentioned that those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens. The Bible says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This means if you do not fear the Lord, you are not wise. Hence, you are not shinning at all.
If you are not shinning as a star (like the sun), you are not giving life. You are not needed. You don’t matter. The world can spin on without you. But the sun? How can the plants proceed with photosynthesis without it!
How can the oceans evaporate to condense and make rain without its heat? How can you survive without its vitamin D? It’s the core of the solar system…how can a day count if the earth hasn’t spun about its axis? How can a year count if the earth hasn’t revolved round the sun 365 days? Time (or how we measure it) would not exist if the sun didn’t!
How about light? How would we see? How would the early man have seen before the discovery of fire? …
Slowly, you can notice how important the sun is. And the sun is a star. Just like you. Now base that to see how significant a star can be to the world and gauge your state!
God meant you to be a shinning star by the order of Abraham! It is my prayer that you rise to that calling, that you might be of great relevance to this generation and to the world entirely! Let your light so shine before men!
Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of God is risen upon you! Do not hide your light under a bushel! The sun isn’t sorry about its glow!
You are someone’s light at the end of their tunnel. And your light has the power to keep darkness, and all its forms, and its instigator away! Part of the power you’ve been given to trample over every snake and scorpion and all power of the enemy is your light! The revelation that you are, and the revelation that you carry!
Imagine the sun withheld its light! What would become of the plants and the people! That’s the same that’s happening the longer you hide your light as a star!
