John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Something new just hit me having re-read this scripture, and it’s true in all aspects. This is the advancement of the word: Its change of form from one state to another.
Notice; In the beginning was the Word. That Word and God are mentioned to have been SEPARATE entities at the very start. It’s like flour and sugar and eggs and milk being all by themselves in different shops.
The Word was with God: The two met. The two interacted! The flour and sugar and eggs and milk have been bought by a baker and placed in the same bowl.
At this point they are all saying ‘hi’ for the first time. Acquaintances! And while in the bowl they get to know each other more intimately. The baker begins to knead, mixing all of them!
The Word was God: When the cake is fully baked, the eggs have been mixed throughout the whole dough. The milk as well is throughout. The flour is everywhere—well saturated.
There’s no good cake that has eggs concetrated in one corner, and the flour still white in another half of the baked sponge! They mingle so much that they can’t be separated just like sugar and water in tea! The ingredients are no longer just acquaintances. They’d become best of friends. They’d married while in the oven!
That is the meaning of ‘and the Word was God’.
After the metamorphosis of the Word and God into one, was when the result of ‘all things being made through Him’, transpired!
What am I saying?
The Word alone is powerful. It’s incorruptible! But it can’t need itself. It can’t help itself! God needed it, and so He beckoned it, and used it. He said, ‘…let there be light!’ And the word flushed out the wonder of light out of darkness!
The Word is needed by you in the same way, but to experience the greatest results of it not returning void, is it being One with you. In literal sense, this means, ‘In the beginning was the Bible, and the Bible was with you, and the Bible became you…’
Imagine the book alone, and you alone. Then imagine it with you in fellowship. Finally imagine both of you inseparable! Where you are, the book is! Where you are the Bible is!
This doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be with the book physically, but rather, bear its content within you—in your mind’s meditation, in your lips’ confession and in your jokes’ provocation! Yes. That is the only point when we can most certainly say ‘the Word is you!’
It becomes so superfluous in you such that men can’t separate you and it! That’s when you are endowed with the authority that comes with it! That’s when you fully exercise that authority! That’s when you speak and your word doesn’t return void! That’s when you activate your nature as a god, as a son or daughter of God, as a coheir with Christ.
You see, Jesus Himself underwent this metamorphosis. He was the seed of the Holy Spirit yes. But mothered by a human. Thus, we can’t use the excuse that He was 100% God alone. He was 100% man too. The Bible says, He increased in wisdom and stature (Luk 2:52)
By 12, He’d quote most of the Word. It wasn’t just in scrolls uh-uh! It was no longer with God! It was God! Jesus disappeared 18 years more … becoming more married with it. This was the baking! When He returned, the icing lacking was the Holy Spirit, who came upon Him at Jordan and voilà — great exploits ensued!
Now, if Jesus needed this union, how much more you! He was simply showing us how to live. Thus, we too have to be with the Word and be the Word. And even if many of us are not there yet, Jesus wants you to advance; Egg to larva — Larva to pupa — Pupa to adult. The more you are with the Word, the more stages you’ll transform into, until finally, you sprout wings and soar as an adult butterfly … and bring forth fruit, by laying more eggs, that’ll metamorphose too!
At every stage, you’ll be at a greater advantage than before! The caterpillar is able to move unlike the egg. But that’s not the best version of it! There’s better! There’s more!
God is encouraging us to disappear like Jesus, into that cocoon, where we absorb the Word endlessly, until it changes our entire being, and frames our entire world into what it was meant to be, leaving nothing to chance or luck!

The more the Word is with you, the more you metamorphose. The more you grow in this oneness; the more you become the health it says you are, the more you become the wealth it says you are, the more you become the light it says you are, the more you lend to nations and not borrow, the more you manifest the worlds of the unseen unto the seen!
Happy being with the Word! Happy amalgamating! … Happy metamorphosing!
