Light the First Creation

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Genesis speaks of God creating the Heavens and the Earth. Everything was vague and without form. Like I’ve mentioned before creating is different from manifesting. I could create a thing in my head, and describe it to anyone and they still fail to comprehend it. Once I manifest it, that’s when everyone can understand it.

I think God had a full picture of what He wanted all creation to look like. But to manifest it, there were steps to be followed…but to define His occupation as creator, there had to be a tool.

What’s a carpenter without wood? What’s a Smith without iron? What’s a musician without voice or instrument? What’s an artist without painting? In the same way, God’s trying to say, what’s a creator without light? What’s a creator without word?

The Bible says in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. That’s the word which was spoken when He said ‘let there be light’. The Word therefore—in the setting of an artist —is the canvas. The light is the paint & brush. Now whatever the painter will paint won’t be of any concern to us, but we have to know that without the canvas or paint & brush, there’ll never amount to any Monalisa

We can’t call it art if it’s paint & brush alone. And we can’t call it art if it’s plain canvas alone either! Endeavoring to have both in play is the only time an artist (God… or you) can be in position to create a masterpiece.

With these allegories I take you back to the main point of today’s article. God wanted the reader to see the sun and animals and fish and trees. But if you enter a dark room, can you tell what it harbors? Of course not. You need the light to be on in order for you to see what’s within the room

God wanted the observer or reader of Genesis to see what He created. If He created the animals before the light, then how could we have told how they looked like? If He created the birds and trees before light, how could we define that the first have wings and the latter have leaves!

It is like the entire universe would be blind just like we get when we close our eyes.

But when we open them … the light around falls on objects helping to give them definition!

Moral?…

We have understood that the Word of God is pre-requisite to create, but before we create anything we have to have light about it. We have to have REVELATION about that particular thing otherwise if we don’t, it’ll stay undefined and therefore we will not manifest it or if we do, it’ll come out half baked.

For those who might not understand what revelation is, it a manifestation of divine truth or … from personal experience, I’d define it as perceiving & understanding a thing that was never heard of from anywhere else but from God, by you, for the very first time.

It’s a deep understanding and bearing rare wisdom of any topic or whatever you wish to create. For example, if someone wishes to get married, their understanding of it must be apposite, lest they speak it into being with a warped flaw. This could be equivalent to giving birth, to a child only to see it mutate later into a deformed creature that’s not anywhere close to humanity.

It’s like going out to bake a cake whose ingredients have all been captured, but the baker fails to understand the order and measure by which these mingle and the conditions necessary…

Imagine the baker mixing icing with eggs and bringing in milk at the very end after the oven session—which was set at 50 degrees instead of 120 as required! That won’t turn out to be a cake!

With that, replace the cake with say wealth.

Before you begin speaking the kind of wealth you want to see, do you understand how it works? Its laws & divine policies? Do you know that your gifts open up doors for you to stand before kings? Do you know that there are principles in the kingdom to facilitate the multiplication of your profits like popcorn? Do you know that you are destined to inherit the entire world if you’re a believer? … for Abraham left that as patrimony for you and hence your birthright…

If you’re creating a business empire as another example, do you know that you have the power to get wealth? Do you know that all that you do ought to prosper if you delight in the law of the Lord?

Bearing all these at the back of your mind as insights can then comfortably launch you deeper on the creation plane of whatever you’d so desire. For as we’ve seen, God needed light so that He’d see what He made. That goes the same for you. Have ‘light’ and you’ll SEE what you’re creating.

If you know for example, that you’re born again of the Word of God, and that just as the rain leaves the sky and doesn’t return thither but wets the earth, so does this Word return not void but accomplishes all that it is sent to do, you’ll know that what you speak comes to be. That alone is ‘light’ (revelation) of who you truly are, and thus it informs your ability to create and the outcome of whatever you will speak. ‘It won’t come out as a deformed cake.’

Your revelation will have set you apart as one who knows how to excellently mix the ingredients, at the right oven temperature, thus impeccability of your cake.

All professionals have light by experience and time … to enable them be set above in all that they do. A baker’s knowledge enables him to decipher unready cake. A chef tastes food and can comment on the insufficiency of salt or its excessiveness thereof. These are all because they carry revelations of perfection or at least knowledge to tell at which point imperfection begins.

In the same way, consult, study, learn, pay, gain more experience, get light or create it (…meaning, find or position yourself in avenues that can lead you to more revelation and understanding in regards to want you’d like to create) … and like God, you’ll look at what you will have created (with the aid of the light) thereafter … and it will be GOOD!

Genesis 1:31a Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!
